• Each tuner may submit one car tune for the challenge
• Test drivers have the responsibility to test all cars as the tuner writes them up, including all gear settings and LSD settings. (Suggest that the tuners either place the car on share or send it to the test drivers, especially for cars from the UCD which the test driver may not have readily available.)
• No one entering the shootout as a tuner may participate as a driver. However feel free to post your best times for comparison.
• The average of the drivers times will be used to determine the Shootout winner.
• All drivers must submit valid times for all car tunes entered in the event here no later than the 23th of August.(If the number of cars that need to be tested makes the time between final entry and event final a problem then event may be extended.)
• Arrangements for payouts to the event winner and all test drivers will start on the 15th of August, or the first day following the final time posting whichever is later.
• While discussion of the various cars tunes and the methods drivers use in testing as well as their reviews of said car tunes is encouraged, anything viewed as a personal attack on either the car tuner or the driver/reviewer may constitute grounds for disqualification/removal from the contest. Discussion of anything related to the contest is highly encouraged. Personal attacks and bickering/flaming will not be tolerated as this curtails the enjoyment of the community as a whole and could lead to the moderators steping in and closing the contest down. This can be an enjoyable experience for all of us and a possible learning experience. Let's have fun and be respectful of others.

• Each tuner may submit one car tune for the challenge.
• There are no BHP or weight restrictions in this challenge.
• Any drivetrain car can be used
• There is a 525PP limit on all cars.
• Ballast and Power Limiter are allowed for cars to meet the PP limit.
• Sport Soft or lesser tires only.
• No Race Modified or Race Cars! (This includes Rally types!:D)
• All car tunes must be submitted here no later than August 8th at 11:59pm (A link to your garage is sufficient if you do not wish to post the full tune here. Consideration will be given on the final submission date due to time zones, however it is highly recommended that entrants not wait until the last minute to get their contender in.)

• Each tester will get 100,000 Cr.
• Testers decide either a car worth up to 100,000 or B-Spec remote race
• The fastest tester will get a extra prize!

Its time to show America and Asia who are the Kings of the car manufacturing industry with this challenge. Now that European cars become less popular on our world and USA and Japan start to overtake European manufacturers. This challenge will prove that the European cars can take on there overseas competitors and possibly even defeat them!

The track that will be used for this challenge is Laguna Seca which was agreed upon in my Tuner group. This track is perfect for testing their cars to the limits and the corkscrew will be a challenge for any car and tester that decides to take part.

Looks good...some of the text is a bit difficult to read due to the colors on a small screen but not impossibly so.

You need to edit the first Orange line as it currently reads as follows;
• Each tuner may submit one FF car tune for the challenge
Otherwise looks good.👍👍
I'm in as a tuner of course and I'll most likely use this space to post my tune. Unless of course you need me to make it available for additional event information.

Thanks for spotting that... Glad to see you join in the fun..

Me too i'm in. But i think you must do weight categories, if not it will be a Lotus 111R battle only. (From what i have tested till now)

Not really…Elises are very, very twitchy and stiff (esp. the first gen. model), and that isn't going to be ideal for the Corkscrew, is it?

I stand corrected, the Elise isn't a twitchy little ****, it's very quick. I know it to be faster than both of RVR's entries in my hands.

I'll have to look at it now.. If its dominant I will put in a weight restriction on the Event..

Well if your doing early test runs I'll have to get you to compare a few of my possible choices as well:sly::crazy::D

Oi, I'm still busy writing reviews, I just helped Dylan cuz he woke me up just so that I could grab the damn placeholder…

What always the bridesmaid and never the bride?:lol:

Just think if you started an event you could make one of us do all the heavy support work!:D

Nothing about tuner's cars ??restrictions ??

Only readily available tuner car I could think of that was European isn't competitive at this PP. It requires to much restriction to get down to 525PP. If you know of any tuner cars besides the HPA TT I'd like to know what they are.
By the way the HPA brand new before adding anything including oil change and 0 miles no break-in is 577 PP.

(Suggest that the tuners either place the car on share or send it to the test drivers, especially for cars from the UCD which the test driver may not have readily available.)

See anything wrong here? ;)

Yea, UCD car.

Will have to look think the R32 I already tested...and liked...was a regular VW not a HPA. If it is different I'll have to give it a real close look...the R32 is good just not quite great so a tuner version might be the little extra needed...

Not sure whether to put a weight limit or not because the elise beats my cars but if I remove it makes a fun and difficult time to find the right car

HPAs R32 is Bad Ass 500+ HP out the box. They boost the 3.2L VR6 with a nasty Bi-turbo (I believe) I love it.

HPA is a Canadian Tuner Shop

I would be going down for a tester but...I'm on holiday for 3 weeks, starting from Friday, so if you do the math, I won't be here for any of the testing days of the shootout...plus I still have my own shootout to prepare as well.

If you guys will have me again, I'll throw my hat in as a tester.

I will though admit at this point that Elises + me (usually) = backwards.
