Hello GT5 fans,

I know it`s an old Seasonal but still possible to grind. I`m grinding for helmets and this Seasonal has a good payout helmet to time ratio when you grind the 3 laps on Eifel.

I use the Ford Focus ST `06 fully tuned with 316kW / 529 PP.
Is there a better car out there to finish faster (My best time so far 2:14:080.)?

Thanks for your help.

Well its not very helpful but as a fast FF car I choose excactly the one you did, maybe you got it right?

Fully Tuned 06' Mitsubishi Eclipse GT!!! 556PP and 549hp!!!

Also, remember to lower the LSD effects to help FF car's turn well. Especially lower the Acceleration Sensitivity tune (with the adjustable LSD) to around 15. 👍

i've stopped tuning my cars to the max... got a bit boring winning by a mile, i like to tune them just under the pp limit, or close to the lead car, makes it more challenging... thats just me though :D

I see and understand your point. But in this case it is only to win as many helmets as possible in short time.

Well, there are some helpful tips and I will try them out.

Especially tuning. I`m just a little experienced in that topic. :indiff:

The Focus RS is faster when fully tuned than the premium ST.

Also you might try a Dodge SRT4 if there is no PP limit.

By my experience the first options that come to mind:

Honda Integra RM
Citroen Xsara Rally Car

A car I don't usually use but it's very fast is the Trial Celica as mentioned.

The Mugen Honda Civic '87 Race Car is pretty good too.

The Honda Civic RM isn't such a great car as it's suggested, toooooo much understeer.

Properly tuned you can get rid of most if not all the understeer issues with any of the FFs.

Haven't ran this particular seasonal but if the track allows for the acceleration and top speed a fully tuned SRT4 with its 600+ HP will be hard to beat. If the track is more about cornering speed then one of the race/rally cars or a RM will probably be best.

Well, the Eifel Kart track. It`s not about top speed. It`s all about acceleration, handling and keeping the flow. :sly:

I don´t tune my Cars to the max because you can overtune them which destroys the handling on some cars.
Espacially FF cars suffer from to much power (at least for me).
SRT4 with 600+bhp its still fast but you loose to much Time while seeing the awsome smoke it produces :D
Keep the power down a bit and it is superb.

I totally recommend the Trial Celica. It such an awsome Car.
Plus if you read the description and take it totally stock to any Track you won´t feel your driving a FF-Car (Read the Description to see how good PD implemented the Trial Celica).
It is my number 1 FF-Car.

Integra RM, Civic RM, Integra Touring Car, Xsara Rally Car, DRider Civic, Mugen Motul Civic, 207 GTi and the Ford Focus RS are the other FF-Cars I would recommend you for that Seasonal.
They are all good Cars and fast. But the fastest ?? Don´t know if you grind just try them. There isn´t so much Time difference to worry (and money shouldn´t be an issue).

My best time so far 2:14:080 - best lap 44:697 - before the thread.
My best time now 2:12:309 - best lap 42:972.

Thanks. Any good advices are welcome. 👍

I used the Spoon CRZ, fully tuned, absolutely no difficulties winning, car handles amazing!

My last post wasn't that helpful lol

I've been using a tuned Civic RM, easy wins with a massive lead :)

There is only one real FF:

but somehow it seem irrelevant to this discussion even if FF is mentioned twice in the title.

The Integra Type R RM is probably the best option, but I'd give the Integra Touring Car (standard) a go too. Also the Hyundai Tuscani CSS is a great car too, handles like a dream.

Personal favourites for this are the Trial Celica and the Citroen Xsara Rally Car. I tend to run the Xsara with RS tyres up front and Intermediates on the rear, which helps with turn in as it allows a little bit of predictable slide. It almost feels like a lower powered 4wd car at times, so long as your overall tune will accommodate it.
I've tried this trick with numerous FF cars and it works really well if you don't have masses of time to fine tune the car to inherently do that with suspension tuning. Works really well on a sorted CRZ TC, if you really want a challenge though stick full wets on, as it'll drift like the rwd cars!

That said, if you want sheer overkill go with the SRT4, fully tuned at over 600bhp!
