Amazing driving from everyone, especially when we were all bunched up in the beginning of race 2, had lots of fun, cant wait for next week! đź‘Ť

Definitely was a clean, fun race. I ended up going into turn one too hot around halfway through the race. After that, I fell a part. Was doin good first race, but go DCed. What luck.

Hope there's room in Thursdays races. Wouldn't mind running again.

Well, that was an embarrassing effort. In the first race, I actually could have made a pass for 1st but I tucked behind, opting to do the usual "Steal a Win" strategy. I ended up messing up a corner and completely losing my groove.

Banged a wall on the 2nd race trying to give Maverick room.

I'd be better with more practice but with the odd way the car handles, it's not worth it.

For those in the other races, the fastest laps I saw in qualifying today was around a 2:07.3 or 4.

Good job "A7XMaverick". Nice result for a new guy coming out from the woodwork. Hope you show up Thursday.

Remember they technically should only race once a week unless there's room for them to run multiple races. Even then, he won't get any additional points for running more than one race a week.

Yes, hear that M. Shadows?

I swear I've seen him around before but from where, I don't remember.

All I know is that with him in the running, I'll be lucky to get any wins. Now I know how everyone that went against Adam in the Miata series felt. :P

haha, yeah, he's a floater ah?

That reminds me, I have to put up some footage to Youtube of Aderrrm and I running the Cup car in iRacing around in practice. We had a nice close few laps till I spun out.

He's been arround for some time now, I ran 2 seasons on the LMP series with him back when GT5 came out, he's always been alien fast pretty good driver overall and a great addition to any series.

Man I totally missed the race last night. Been hard to hit the forums over the last few days. I'll be there Thursday at 9 though.

Mav is a great driver. I've raced him in many occasions and various combos and he is always very fast and very clean, you're lucky to have him here, or not..

Had a good time last night.
Really needed to get a better spot in the Q session. My plan was to sit on Outlaws tail following Mav.... Hope something happens to them and steel the win.
Sadly I opted to use the DS3 instead of the wheel since I had no practice with either (once last week spent 10-15 mins with the wheel goofing off), bad idea.
A7XMaverick is going to be hard to steal a win from, I'm still shocked he could do a 7.3 with draft.

Now if I can just get out of Grand Valley with minimum points lost.

So, qualifying actually worked fine for the first time in a while but I forgot to set the correct number of laps so we had to re-start. The only issues I saw were that Jav got black-screened effectively ruining his race, and we had people with trouble getting into the room. I'm pretty sure it didn't have anything to do with my connection as nobody was lagging for me and everything was running smoothly. Hopefully there's no issues tomorrow, as we ran a lot longer last night than I had hoped.

If there is room open I may try for the 9PM slot on Thursday.
I really would like another shot at this track.

Procedural question: So you get points you score on the first attempt. Suppose driver X races first on Tuesday. After that there are spaces in Thursday race, driver X shows up and wins a race. He gets no points, that's a given. Question: how many points will a second-placed driver gets? 32 or 28?

Drivers that have already scored points in an earlier race will technically show as "invisible" on the results. So if we have one person race twice, and he places 4th, then he will not show on the results and all drivers behind him get moved up 1 spot. (5th gets points for 4th, 6th for 5th, etc)

Plan to be around Thursday!

Been hectic still. Ugggg Christmas over. Time to be normal home body. ;)

Room opens. I get home about 8:45-ish EST on the weekdays, making 8:50 to 9pm EST the earliest that I can get things rolling.

He did a 2'07.0 in clean air near the end of race 1.

The fast guys on tuesday were nailing every corner like it was nothing. đź‘Ť
On ocassion I can fluke a corner and am able to replicate those apex and exit speeds, but the way you guys take that fast chicane at the end of sector 2 is something I cannot comprehend. You guys are going through there maintaining a speed of 106-107 mph. I simply cannot carry that sort of speed without going sideways or hitting the wall on exit. The best I have done was shedding speed down to 103 mph, but even then that was very hairy and wouldnt try that during a race.

Christmas stuff and grandparents being here from Portugal aren't making my free time easy to manage. I'll try to make it tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know Im still interested in this. đź‘Ť

I figured some alien could do a 2.7 flat or 2.6 but WOW.
I found if you can get on the grip line you can take it almost flat out in 4th gear, it's all about the entrance.
I could "find" the spot but couldn't do it repeatedly.
Sadly even if I added all my best sectors up I would be looking at a 2:07.6...
I think the fast guys just know how to find grip and hit the same spot each lap.

I was barely hitting 2:10 laps. Some good drivers in this. Trailing other drivers helped me improve a bit, but I still have a ways to go.
