In that case excalibur, you'd be promoted/relegated as anyone else would. If you miss 4 weeks in a row you'd normally be relegated. Just let us know by posting here that you can or can't race the upcoming Sunday.

I have an idea but I'd like to talk to zer0 before I make any changes to this process. Sometimes I think I come up with this great idea and he rightly pokes holes in it :)
 
Ok, so the abarth is 350pp and 129 hp in the OCD. After break in and oil change we have 356pp and 135 HP. SOmething tells me, OCD is already broke in. This follows what Maddock posted as well as what I was already noting in some tuning logs. Nice to know OCD is break in free.

Alright then I'm going to pick the Fiat Punto HGT Abarth '00, because I don't think we've had a car with this low PP yet? Might make for some close racing especially on Tsukuba. I think it's on SH tires.

We could also lobby the Prize A and Prize B winners to consider Mr. Shelby when selecting their cars and tracks for next week! :D





That doesn't sound cheesy at all. In fact, after the parade lap, we could all line up in Shelby cars (in our chosen color combos) and then have a photo shoot. We could then decide on the best picture and use it as the S.N.A.I.L. banner at the top of the original post for a while. Then we could have one of our many talented graphic artists add text that says something like, "S.N.A.I.L. honors Carroll Shelby 1923 -2012". Let me know what you guys think.

Might as well try it tonight since we usually have pretty big crowds for the Wednesday night races. Everyone bring your Shelby's to the track tonight! If some of you don't see this message in time, we can just take a short break to let everyone who doesn't have one buy the Cobra from the NCD. However, I'd like to see as much Shelby variety as possible in the photos (which means the cars from the UCD as well).
 
I'm just going to use the Cobra from the recommended list, as even if I bought one I would be keeping it in factory colors.

Though if no one else uses the Chrome Line Cobra I may use that instead.
 
Practice in D1 is for racers from all divisions. Don't feel intimidated. Unless your name contains Devious or Mopar you get used to losing.

Morning SNAILs. Sorry I haven't been racing/posting much. My GT5 disc is beginning to fail. :( Keeps freezing up, and a re-install didn't help.

Going to be traveling a lot in the next couple months anyway though. This thread moves too fast to catch up on everything, so if there's any banner requests or need of other MSpaint sillyness, shoot me a PM. :cool:

So are you staying that the OCD only refreshes when there are new events posted? Just trying to get a better understanding of the OCD refresh cycle so that we can figure out how to best manage car selections from the OCD.

it refreshes on Wed nights with new events, but not every week.

Hey guys, just wanted to say I won't be joining you for races anymore. I enjoyed the time spent here, but the truth is, this club is too advanced for me. Driving without driving aids is hard for me, then coupled with crappy tires, and fifteen guys on the track at the same time is just too much. Maybe one day I will be good enough to compete, but I'm nowhere close now. I'm terrible with names but there was a guy helping me in the tutoring class last Thursday night, whoever he was, he was a really nice guy, and very helpful, sorry I don't remember your name, but thanks for being nice:tup:

Just a reminder that tonight at 8PM will be the 1 Lap Magic style races, held in my lounge (GTP_dylansan).

If you're going to attend, please read the procedure, as it will make things run a lot smoother. Especially things like typing the time into the chat and picking a variety of cars.

Also, what's this about shuffle racing tonight? I thought it was Tutoring and Cat and Mouse.

It's tutoring Thursday! Try and not be discouraged by the talent in this group of drivers. Trust me, you will not find a better group to get involved with! Miss Devious and Mopar are by far the best instructors you will ever encounter. Please take advantage of this by showing up for Miss Divious's tutoring class tonight. Your lap times really picked up last Thursday in class, I promise you will get better by attending! You can put your racing on hold for now, but please show up for class! See you tonight
 
I'm heading up to the Mohegan Sun Casino and won't make it back Sunday night in time for racing. See you guys next week.
 
Yeah Glenn hang around dude. I stopped using aids same time I started using sport tires, around December, and the first few weeks are hard. Miss Devious is the best instructor I have seen. Take advantage of any help she has to offer.
