For those who don't like shuffling or pick track/car, I recommend the following.

Tuning prohibited racing with cars from your own garage.

Start at a low PP, say 325, then up it by a bit for each race, maybe 25 points.

Run a race, vote for track, up the PP by 25, repeat.

After ten races you would be at 575, which makes for a good range over the course of the night. It would be a bit slower than shuffling, because you have to find a car to use for each race, but not too bad given that voting is fairly quick and you know what's coming.

Tires would be based on the S.N.A.I.L. regs or similar.

An alternate form of this is to pick a minimum weight that will be set for the night, then start with a low HP and raise it throughout the night, with the limiter allowed, of course, to make it easy to make the numbers.

My favorite aspect of these is the fact that you're using cars from your own garage.

Spice things up a bit by holding an FR night, an FF night, or a Euro night! Let your imagination run wild!

Hell. If I could commit to being online by 9:00 Central any night by Sundays, I'd host it.

Would anybody be interested in a 2 class semi-endurance spot race with the Acura NSX RM and Honda Integra RM? I've always wanted to put on a race and I'll put some serious thought into it if anyone is willing to enter.

I love shuffle races but dislikes junkyard classic car with only 4 gears while my opponents are using modern cars e.g. skyline etc...

Look for me GTP_Struns1098

Any corvette? No tuning right?
Any Corvette, including the Art Morrison '60. Normally tuning is prohibited, but I already told someone I'd let it slide tonight. If you'd like to use a tuned one, that's fine, though stock is still preferred.

Sure Zero, i'll give it a go :) Anyone want to be my team-mate(s).

Do we know car/track combo they/we would end up picking or not yet.
Is their a limit to the amount of people, i see he has atleast 4.

I'm In!!

Count me out of racing for a while. I'm in the process of moving and don't have time. Once I find a new place and get everything moved in I'll start racing

I thought he said the Elise was tomorrow? Magic Lap racing is tonight (in 25 minutes).

Also, you've finally given me a name better than 1 Lap Magic or X Lap Magic. Magic Lap Racing. D'oh! I should have thought of that.

Edit: Just finished up the new seasonal in a stock Opel Vectra, 394PP. I put 302.2 miles on it just from that alone. :scared:
That's the first series of seasonal events I've completed in totality, and claimed the prize for. Glad I managed it in time for tonight's race.

I had a fun time with this one. I focused on the Eifel (Kart) 103B track, and managed to win it with a 375 PP CR-Z Touring Car. I don't think there's any way I could have beat the rest of the races with that car though :)

I'm always up for enduros, provided they're at the right time, etc.

Yeah, I'd only do it if there was an open night. We'll see what happens.

Count me in for your event as well! I can guarantee we'll be able to find an open night for it, so go ahead and start working on the details.

With so many SNAILs coming up with great event ideas lately, we might need to copy Vol's idea in the Parity Racing Series where we let various members pick a theme or an entirely new concept for an official S.N.A.I.L. event. For example, we could have a "wild card" night once a month (or more often if necessary) where SNAILs submit their event ideas in advance so that we can add it to our calendar and work out all the details in the weeks leading up to the event. We could also advertise these one-time events in the Spot Races forum to try to attract non-SNAILs as well.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

Hey Strunz1098,

The Sunday night league races tomorrow have been moved to June 3rd due to the Memorial Day long weekend. A lot of S.N.A.I.L.'s are away and we didn't want to run partial grids. There will be some kind of racing happening though, so keep an eye out here!

I'll add you to the drivers list, you'll be starting in Division 3. If you can't make it on a Sunday, please be sure to give us at least 24 hours notice by posting in this forum, it makes things much simpler for us, thanks.

PSN friend requests will be sent to you from SNAIL_Division1, SNAIL_Division2 and SNAIL_Division3. Their lounges are where we race Sunday night and hold our various events. Here's a breakdown of the ways we use the different lounges.

During the week we run a number of different events feel free to jump in and partake!

The original post also has a lot of information regarding the league, commit it to memory ;)

Welcome aboard and enjoy :)

Gonna have some time to do some kart testing tonight. So how does one break in those? When you buy it - it says 470pp, then, in the garage it only has 465pp so I presume it needs to have ~200 miles. Can't enter it into b-spec enduros and iirc online b-spec events were on SH tires. Any help?

You may not need to break in the karts, however you are welcome to try. Just be aware that you will need to do those 200 miles via A-Spec.

UPD: some online b-spec evens allow for tires up to RH, so my bob just ran 2 laps around N-ring. PP are up to 466, so I guess you do need to break it in.

EDIT: up to 468 now.

Thanks for the info. Please let us know what your final PP is after full break-in and oil change.

YES!!! This is what I've been trying to get together for a while now. I guess we'll have to share Friday night to make this happen. What do you say?
