Race Recap

It really doesn't get much better than GT500 racing! We had a very exciting night of racing. Spazmaticality and martin_ky battled it out for very long stretches and finished within 1 point of each other in the final results. Psycho-Tubers pit strategy (no pit stops) in Round 2 put him in a position to take 2nd just .024 ahead of Spazmaticality who had consistently faster lap times.

We had some disconnects, but they were well timed. Psycho-Tuber got disconnected between rounds 2 and 3, but managed to get back in to race, although without a qualifying time. martin_ky got disconnected right after round 3 ended.

martin_ky would like to personally thank all of you that came out to race. martin_ky did a fantastic job of organizing and stewarding the event. Thanks martin_ky! Congratulations guys on a great night of racing in the Turtle Racing League - FLEX Racing Series!
 
Well said, that was a great night of racing. GT500's are always fun. I'm not sure what my favorite race of the three is. It would be a toss up between the GT-R at Suzuka and the HSV at Tokyo(I never should have pitted). Great driving by all and thanks for coming out. Next week should be even more fun.

The new tire wear model threw you off. My favorite is the GT-R. I love that car. It is probably my favorite in the game. I need to break in the Schulze for next week. 👍
 
I think I have about 5 of them all ready to go. It's very smooth and a blast at the ring.
 
I can't wait to tackle the ring in this GT-R! Wish I could've run the GT500 races too, those cars handled beautifully.

Just noticed that qualifying is set to "none"... does that mean first-come first-served?? :mischievous:
 
Matte silver car black rims #11. I'll only be able to make about half the races, but I like the three week schedule. Maybe a vintage car race at de la Sarthe or another run at Daytona would be fun as well.
 
Same as with Enduro I'd like to change my color scheme to Yellow and Bronze....

Man those GT cars are cool! I need an NSX soooo bad!

Dont think karts need to be. You arent even able to change the oil. Just ran a race and HP didnt go up either. I dont think you should try breakin it it

I have done it though. I had heard that breaking in a kart raised HP and PP, and that it didn't. So I followed the instructions from someone who claimed it did and it worked. I just forgot how to do it. The HP and PP definitely went up though. I'll do a little research to see what I can come up with.

In one of my games i have a kart w/ 95 miles and in the showroom where it shows your car it says 22 hp but in the list it says 21. I thought it said 22 unlike my new game so I was gona say maybe it can be broken in but its the same as my new game's kart where it says the same thing. Its a 100. The list it says 21hp. The showroom it says 22hp

You need to put 175 miles or so on it and then rebuild the engine. You should see a 3hp gain.
 
Without a bspec event for karts I don't see me being able to get it broken in. Hope 3 horse doesn't make a difference.

Bring it to practice... We run up the miles pretty quick.

I just take it to practice at Daytona. That is the fastest posible way right? (Edit: oh but you wana get credits too right?) hahaha karts at Daytona. I think I wana do a plate... I mean just drafting race with karts at Daytona.

I guess that 3 hp is what was hurtin me in another series with a kart race. Always got out front but they always came right back by
