TT #48 Skylines 480PP Deep Forest: 700PP Race Cars Cape Ring

How high you can jump in real life with LMP car without being totaled?
Maybe it's right get red lap from that.

I would agree, it's not so much the penalty system as perhaps the choice of track for the cars. In any case - a tap if the brakes before a jump isnt much different from braking before a bend IMO.

Someone can send me this skyline m spec nur '02? My R32 is already going down (#26 at this moment) and I can beat my time for only 0,2s with this car.

If someone can send this car, I'll be grateful.

👍 I agree with you, LMP cars shouldn't be doing jumps.

Im still wondering why the M-spec is the car on top if its just simply down to the 10 extra kg or what?

Mine is down on power relative to the older models(338 vs 350+),so you'd think it would be slower.

I think its down to the slightly better electronic wizardry in the later cars

that makes it quicker through the twisty bits.

Btw-thanks to Czempion for posting the tune on the 1st page-its what I'm

using and it seems to be doing an OK job 👍

I've been following Yinatos' ghost and he seems to using his front down, rear

high ride settings-I reckon he's got a real low 24s lap time coming soon :)

Haven't run this yet, but that's the way he had his GT86 set up... loads of ballast at the rear to make the car oversteer, then front low, rear high to control it.

The GT86 tune was full of contradictions, but it worked like a dream. Hopefully he'll be sharing his GTR tune soon 👍

Yeah,I couldn't get on with that 'wheel-barrow' tune he used last TT :) but I might give it some experimentation tonight.

The GTRs on share if you can beat me to it ;)

Ryk
Had a pootle about in my old Pug 908... wheelpsin and lock ups, rusty... opened the taps up the hill, fast kink, under the PD loop bridge, Rocky's Flying High Now... DONK red lap.

...

Edit time

Old thread has been resurrected. Seems you get RED for the back end of the car landing heavily after the jump - Fix is to ballast the front up or add more rear aero (WHich my brain thinks would just make the car back flip...) Whatever the trick is either slow down... or balance the Ballistic profile of your chosen car

A massive glitch of the game surley? Your car goes to high therefore red lap......

If the cars shouldn't be flying so high then perhaps PD should sort this, either way a poor effort.

I gave Cape Ring another go, got a little faster not much. Even though I found a good speed to go over the transition up the hill the tail still hit wrong.

Hi Guys,

Heres the set-up that I've been using for Deep Forest with the SKYLINE GT-R M・spec Nür (R34) '02

Hope it helps.

Thanks for sharing numbnuts. Using a modified version of your tune and it seems to be working well. I hate tuning 4WD cars and you've just saved me the trouble. Thanks again my friend, I owe you one. Forgot my time but it was just outside of the leaderboard after a short go. Doing double duty this week between this and the WRS time trial so its going to be a busy week. Peace and good night all.

Developed a Tune for R32 GTR '89 480pp because i like R32's :)
1:29.xxx with ***zero driving aids what so ever***. It could go a little faster as is, but the tune could use a little more balance.

I've started working on the popular Vspec II R34 with a similar type of tune. The R34 is very different though so the tune wont be the same, i suspect it will go faster even though it'll end up being heavier with less power then the R32 GTR.

Easiest TT ever, used the premium R32 with a few bolt ons and no oil change, and nailed a high 1.29.something on the first lap.

@giantyak
Your dampers are too soft and your roll bars are too, try the default settings for them and up the front roll bar one click and I think I have my dampers at 8 for ext and 4/8 compression and camber a added just a bit 1.4 and 1.2 and front toe at .13 rear I left alone, IMO it felt straight and was easy to control some may not agree with my settings but it make sense to me.

The Cape Ring 700pp tt, for me is pretty hard with the 905 or gt-one i could only get a great time with the 2j: 2.18.55

No race track in the world that had these cars on it would have a hump like that. If you're going to make a ridiculous race track PD, fix the ridiculous issues that come with it.

Cheers, got me a respectable time within 5 laps! Think I should be able to get into the 25's with a bit more practice.
Thanks for the individual photos of each section made it possible to view on my phone.

No chance of catching BSwaggis though - killing it with the directional buttons in 11th.

Not really feeling the TT's this week... the GTR one is just a matter of managing the understeer and the LMP one is a bit fast for my old (ie; slow) reactions

Thanks for the GTR tune numbnuts 👍
