Anyways, I got a 1:24.896 on Deep Forest to put me in 5th for now. I've had some .7's and .6's going but they were ruined by me getting nervous on the last turn :grumpy: Maybe whenever Yinato decides to post his tune I should get some better luck here. If he doesn't then that's fine. :)

Has the 2.09 update affected the speed/grip etc of the cars in TT mode.

I know theres a big difference between offline and online lap times.

Just wondered if anybody has noticed anything different?

Guess I will see that as i have saved the fastest lap ghost replay and can use the same settings in GT-R. Lets see if I can keep up or do I blast past the old time. :)
 
I don't know how to set up my gearbox perfectly in my Skyline :( I'll try my best and combine something. I must come back to the top 50 or better :f
 
Well that's me done..1:29 at Deep Forest, I keep taking tiny bites out of it, but just can't get consistent enough to make it enjoyable now. We've got it for another week or so so will probably play around with it when the mood strikes. Congrats to the guys getting into the 24's very impressive to watch.

how have your ride height setting changed with the updates i ve run -25/-5 on the skyline to set my best time iam i going the wrong way or is everyone feeling this is the best way to go??

I might give your ride height settings a try, I was using numnuts tune but just did another run with -15 15 and managed a 1'25.216 but id taken too much in the last corner on the previous lap so I knew it wouldn't have counted. Had to quit there though unfortunately, but will definitely get another run before the deadline.

I changed the springs a bit too, but I can't remember the exact values. I think it was a stiffer front (maybe 12.5?) and softer rear
(5.9?) than posted. But my settings are tweaked for directional buttons, im not sure if they will be any better.

My springs were fr 15.5 R 10.1 think ill go softer on the front
 
what a great tune big thanks numbnuts70 started with a 91 gtr using giantyak's tune which was an easy gold thanks for posting it,then set up a numbnuts ride hit a 1:26.5, early days but I'm loving the ride cheers
 
For anyone not taking this too seriously I would recommend having a go in the Escudo Dirt Trial. It's enormous fun and surprisingly quick. For me it was faster than the 905 and only a couple of seconds off what I could manage in the R8.

I finally patched my game up so I can play these seasonals and trials. very nice!

Finally cracked the top 10k at deep forest. With my 1989 GT-R R32 :)

+1 lol-not that it would do me any good-it'll be set-up for active steering which I'm not fussed on using.

I've hit the 'proverbial' brick wall I think,can't seem to get into the 24s again-plenty of 25.0s,25.1s but I've watched Yinatos replay and he's getting on the power a millisecond before me on each corner and is able to balance the car with cadence braking more than I can with the buttons(carrying the extra 1mph through the apex),which over the lap is costing me those vital few tenths.

Oh well,I'll still keep trying but can't see me improving tbh but if I can stay in the top10 I'll be happy :)

I think it's 1 of the few TTs where I've had a competitive car from the outset.

Are you using the same car as yinato? if so have you got a setting i could use, ive had a break from the game back now been on the TT for an hour using the car from stock and have got a 1'29.533

Hi mate-no i'm not using Yinatos car(wish I was),don't look like he shares,its never on his profile boxes :grumpy:

I did borrow of one of the wheelbarrow cars(a pink 1)to set my 24.8xx lap.
From what I can remember,it was using a -25/+35 ride height.

He then graciously agreed to swap cars with me(he liked my blue 1)so I will try to post the setup.

I'll pm him later and ask if I can post his tune on here-then we can all have a more level playing field :)
