I also do believe in sorg. If I had a hacked PS3 myself, I'd try to help. Gave that chance up, when I sold my half-broken PS3. Wish I would have thought of it before though. Anyway, I think someone said earlier that the things sorg has posted should be collected and posted in the OP. Trying to find sorg's posts in here is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
I just mess with it too, Just the odd bit of art but nothing professional and am sure the pictures posted early on are very genuine or they are some tasty work.
I try to make my covers look professional, or somewhat professional. I think the picture he posted earlier with the 2J with the RSSs are real. At first, people was like "pics or it didn't happen". When sorg provides a pic, it's all now "video or it didn't happen".

I never doubted him mate I just did the picture simply becuase someone didn,t want to beleive that photoshop could do a good job in reproducing any art thats ever produce?

But my belief in what is being discovered maybe dead code thats left in game just like when you unistall a program on a computer. It leaves junk?
Plus some of it needs to be am guessing activated by PD servers side, Like the 5G and maybe the x2010 JP Flag colour?

Well, if one its REALLY good it may be able to reproduce some nice screens on Photoshop. The Tron one you did is pretty good but its noticeable, the size of the bike in the pic, the fonts used, difference in illumination, etc.

Yeah thats what I mean am no professional and there is some great artist out there who could kill my work in to ground.
I just mess around with it.The only reason I did it was explained, That a simple mess about on there could get close with in a short space of time and it was for those who believed that photoshop couldn,t do it.
I have never doubted the pictures they look pretty real to me. But now everyone,s shouting for video.

So far the thread is a 'look what I've found out' type of discussion that does not include any details as to how it was discovered other than to say it was found through hacking a PS3.
Any discussions that detail how to hack a PS3 and/or any game disc will be immediately deleted.

No I don't think that and he doesn't need too stay on GTP all day, but I'm wanting to make sure all of this aren't just what he found out from GT5 by just hacking his ps3. T_T

) and I sure would love a Premium R92CP/Speed 8 but won't hold my breath for them to arrive soon.How people arrive at the conclusion that there won't be any further DLC just because it ain't on the disc is beyond me to be honest.

Not to sound mean or anything but I want physical proof as in a video of his shut off and restart of his playstation to show if it is not jail broken or to make sure he isn't doing the Repackage trick on the firmware to actually see it on the system when the game starts.

I think it's just a shame that this stuff was found out quite late on, if a year or so ago somebody had said there may be a premium Speed 8 in the works maybe PD would have felt a need (and maybe not) to add it & the R92CP. Would be cool to have some more premium Le Mans racers.

Just wanted clarification, are these files from the original GT5 disc or is it from the fully updated HDD installed files? If it's the latter it would easily explain most of the findings as place holders until activated at a later date. I remember before the C7 was actually known to be coming, there were 17 cars listed in Chevrolet's dealership but this was after the last update and you could only see 16 cars(until the C7 unlock DLC was given). PD releases all their DLC this way, we should know this by now. It always comes by way of update first then unlock key which is always 100kb in size from the PSN store.
The tuning parts area bit harder to even task as the extra tire types are baffling as are deliberate exclusion of triple plate clutch and brake upgrades. Could these things have been disabled due to the extra strain on calculations or PD found that they kind of cause all kinds of mishaps with physics or could be that they are just there for reference testing when adding DLC. Heck the tuning parts could all be for the Spec III update, PD could have finally nailed the calculations and it's all ready to go, just needs the green light. Could be our Christmas gift, ha ha. That would be epic, the tuning options that is, no too enthused about the tires to be honest, love me some comfort softs and sport hards.
Now the standard to premium naming stuff I can pretty much believe as he has found that all the other conversion cars do indeed come with such naming conventions. I am not to concerned with new cars so much, but deeper tuning has me stoked and possibly a drag mode.
Quick question for Sorg, is there anything in there that allows you to really change more setting in the course creator mode or build a point to point course? Or total control and allow you to recreate any course layout in the world(this would be epic if PD actually let you build out any layout you can imagine).
One more, if you happen to see it is there a way to manipulate the viewing positions of the cameras, this would seriously help with getting a great hood cam view, always bothered me that PD never added this view, it's not even that hard and much better than that roof cam which throws perspective out the window. Thanks in advance for any news even if it's not good.
Guys take it easy and breathe a bit, PD has always released a giant update with fixes and additions and we only notice a fraction of what anything does beyond their update list. They do this to keep parity so everyone has the same thing as if the game shipped that way, makes sense correct?

Why PD doesn't just allow every region to purchase special cars or just give them away is beyond me, but they are little more than code keys to which the game gives you that car.
