Official combo for next sunday.

Let's swap an F1 for another one.

Mclaren F1 @ Daytona Road (Sports soft)

Even on sports soft, you have to be careful on the throttle, kinda like the Zonda which I loved. I just hope that Oshawa has a slower combo on his mind.

Edit: got tree'd  not changing my pick a slow car on a track like daytona is a bit boring. Had the RS6 avant on my mind but I guess that will have to wait for a slower track.

Although I was kinda getting tired of Daytona this is fresh

The Art Morrison Vette is a much slower car and I think offers a good driving experience for all.

Fantastic!!!! Wonder who was talking about that car. ;)

I tested a few cars at Fuji earlier today. I really enjoyed the driving the Art Morrison Corvette from the NCD. Need a new track now.

D3 drivers, where do we want to take it? I need a few suggestions to try out.

I'm not D3 but it was pretty fun on GP/F when I drove it a couple weeks ago. :)

I have not driven that car in ages; but as far as a track I would suggest Tokyo; I think it fits the kind of car.

You may want to check it with DS3 first. This is the only car I have that just grinds to a halt on the track with the e-brake on and I couldn't deactivate it. Of course, that was several months ago and I haven't bothered taking it back to a track since.

If I may suggest a track while I'm not in D3, I did some spec racing with the Art Morrison 'Vette lately @ Indy Road course and it was nice. 👍

I too love Tokyo, but also have not driven the vette in months.

BTW congrats on winning D3 this week - you were really fast all night in everything.

Since I've been asked my opinion I'll make my usual "I shouldn't have been asked for my opinion" opinion:

Route X

Wait wait wait… is the last race night of March really scheduled for a Saturday? Or is that a misprint and it's scheduled for Easter Sunday (03/31), which I would say would most likely be cancelled.

Remember what happened last time we ran on a Holiday (or was it the night before)? So few people showed up that we had to throw it out.

(I realize that would throw a wrench into everything, but…)

Thanks for catching that. I've corrected it. 👍

The only reason we raced the day before Labor Day last year was because we did extensive research on the matter and all indications were that we'd have normal sized grids. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Then again, you could also argue that it was merely a continuation of a downward trend in attendance (see the bottom graph here and look at the attendance from August 1st, 2012 to September 2nd, 2012)

I think Easter will be different though because there's no holiday the next day (people won't be out of town etc). And while Easter is certainly an important holiday to many, it's typically celebrated during the morning/day and doesn't really affect people by 10pm Eastern / 7pm Pacific.

Wolfsatz, thanks for the offer you made tonight to help upload videos for D3. However, I was mixed up when I said we didn't have someone doing that due to Goat no longer being able to. Actually, Goat has been doing the video uploads, but he's been unable to serve as the data specialist. Would you be willing to be the data specialist instead of the video uploader? Of course we can find a backup for you like Exo and Weaver do it in D4. Please let me know either way and sorry for the confusion on my part. :dunce:

Zero,
I don't mind helping out. Can you please send me pm instructions as to what needs to be done?
