So here it is.

Please comment if we should make any changes on PP's or anything else.

Let's continue the fun from Suzuka. :) đź‘Ť

Same rules apply from the previous RWD event.

Rules: (Right now. Changes are possible)

- At start: Right away when you get control go left across the grass to the pit road and then a standing start at 50 secs.

Thankyou, thankyou, i was hoping someone would do something like this, i have spent all night tunning and racing on Daytona only to spend most my time driving through the grass or into barriers courtesy of the usual GT5P idiots rear ending me instead of braking, hoping others will take up this idea, so i can play nicely:sly:

Yeah. :) And please, comments about the start and opininons about anything else.

:)đź‘Ť

That could be the way also.. Let's see what everyone else thinks.. The rules that apply at the moment are in the original post.

Just a thought here and don't really know if it will work, but maybe we could all go onto the run off area at the outside of turn 1 and wait there till all 650pp runners pass.
Could be trouble though if one or 2 of them already go off at turn 1 while we are standing there. :scared:

Have you think about moving this RWD-festival to Fuji 550+N3...?

Someone said there is possible to be competitive with many different cars, and I think there wont be many noobs cause it's so slippy and 'slow'.

Maybe there wont need any waiting at start either... even when using littlebit lower PP's than 550.

+1 for this solution đź‘Ť

the start at daytona is gonna be a mess+ too many punters.. How about 500 pp fyji N3 , then we can ride sweet cars like RX7, and the noobs dont like N3 .

Sounds like a plan to me. I don't like the rolling start @ DR. đź‘Ť

you could always head inside at the start of Daytona so you get on the slip road for the pit lane, wait in there till all cars are through and then go for it.

Yeah, the fuji 500pp rwd doesn't sound bad at all.
But it has been a very long time since DR was in online events so I thought people would want to race there. Actually this is the first time for me racing online there. :)

Definately someone should do the Fuji event aswell. Doesn's hurt if both are here right? I'd be happy to race in both events. đź‘Ť

Thats a good idea.... just form a line in the pit lane... the exit is after turn 1 and the slight chicane.... just turn left into the pit lane and form a line there... when everyone passes or at a certain given time... GO for it!! :) sort of a semi rolling start coming out of the pit lane..... :sly:

Diving off left to the pit lane is a good idea and I back that idea up.

Just tested it and it is possible. There's quite a wait for everyone to come by though and the person leading the entrance to the pit lane should go in as far and quickly as possible, so the following train (assuming this event gets popular!) have the room to get in and out of the way. Once in, there's enough room for everyone to wait :)

Yes, just tested aswell. The question is, do we drive trough the pit "course" or not. :)

Haahha! Obli that was awesome. :D đź‘Ť

JvM, that was brilliant! 599 vs M3 = good match!

Didn't expect a race so soon! I think your tactic is safer at the start. Immediate left across the grass and in to main pit straight and follow through pit exit. My tactic of going straight a bit at the start and trying to cut across to the pit exit without clipping grass at speed is dangerous!

 this is going to look funny to people who are not in this race... theyre going to see like half the grid go of track to the pit and wait..

Yeah.. the idea was to go to the pit lane across, and stop and go at 20s, then the question is do we go through the pit course or not.

I think we should immediately turn left when we gain control, go across the grass steadily, join the pit straight and follow the pit exit that goes round parallel with turn 1.

Not sure about time to wait. Perhaps the person in front should be positioned close to where the pit exit joins the track after turn 1, wait 10 seconds after the last PP650 has gone by and then go go go!

Missed it - want to try what I suggested in this post at X:48 guys and see how it goes...?

Yeah that could work. I was thinking about stopping right away on the pit lane and then go at 20s, tried, it's not hard to stop there. With Jack we went straight in the real T1 in the last one and that wasn't bad, was it?

*** Changed the starting rule in the first post. ***

Very nice races guys! :) đź‘Ťđź‘Ť Sorry I have to go now, see you later.

OK, I tried a silly starting idea. I pulled over on the right side wall at the start. How dangerous was that?! People coming by doing about 150mph! So, that's a definite no-no!
