P.S. I now have an Ultimate Dream Train thread. It's a bit of fun, so check it out. This 'Ultimate Dream' stuff is becoming a bit of a series.

It's hard to quantify a favorite vehicle considering all the circumstances. But ignoring everything else and focusing purely on the vehicle for what it is... I'd definitely roll a 1964 Lotus Elan 2+2.

"you can't ask me to make that decision. that's like asking me to choose between Sarah Jessica Parker and Kirstin Dunst in a hot body/weird face contest! It simply can't be done!" -----Family Guy

Seriously though, I'd probably go with a 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429

If you are talking about cars that are possible now, or already produced, it would be either a small V8 saloon, completely black, including window tint, or a Koenigsegg CCX in metallic blue.

If we are talking about a fantasy car that would be my dream, it would be my own design.
Target weight of 3000 Lbs.
Four wheel drive and four wheel steering.
12 liter W18 engine with 6 turbos (Three small, for early boost, three larger ones for high end boost.) and cylinder+turbo shutoff system controlled via switch.
Power outputs of ~1800hp with 1400 ft. lbs of torque with a redline of 7000 rpm, for a hopeful top speed of 300 mph.
Eight speed sequential gearbox.
Active aerodynamics, preferably making about 1.1 Gs
as for styling, something like a front end from the Ford GT, the body style of a Mclaren F1, and the rear end from a Lamborghini. With flippy-doors. And a targa top. Also some big ass brakes. And carbon nanotube tires. Whee.

Well if Holden made a new mid-size V6 RWD Torana, that'd be it. Otherwise too hard to say. Some sort of Holden..........

^You want a Fiat 500 in drag? why?

and for me.. Lamborghini Espada.

Because it's a car, and they're selling it. So I want to buy it.

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean nobody should buy it

Plus I love Alfas... and I love the styling. I'm in love with the little MiTo. If you're not, that's fine, but I am.

I'm a Mustang guy through and through, but for dream cars, I'm torn between a '70 Barracuda 440 6-Pack and a '68 Chevelle SS 396

I don't really have a dream car, more a series of 'realistic' choices. So rather than bore you all with photos of Mk2 Mondeos, I'll go away.

Noo no no, this is a 500 in drag:

Which is presumably why it resembles a handbag.

1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V:

or a 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham:

I couldn't pick between a 70's Lincoln or Cadillac, so I picked one of each. :sly:
