Well, I know that this might be a little too soon, but I already know what my vote is to do in Gran Turismo 5. I plan on transferring my car collection from Gran Turismo 5: Prologue and Gran Turismo (PSP) to Gran Turismo 5. I'm probably not going to race those uber fast millon dollar cars first, though. I plan on going through the standard "Buy a used Civic, tune it, Buy a used Skyline, tune it, win a decent touring car, race it, save up those credits, race in the ultimate tournament" formula of Gran Turismo. Then, I will transfer my collection and not sleep for a week, driving and damaging all of the cars I earned on Gran Turismo (PSP).

What do you plan to do?

First off I'll pass all my license tests. Then I'll buy some 10k piece of junk and play through campaign til I find myself having to shoot 150 3-lap races to save up enough money for a Veyron.

At that point I'll transfer in my prologue garage and sell all my F2007 for Bugatti money

Go into a NASCAR race in Arcade, start in a full grid, and then turn around as soon as the race starts and drive backwards.

It's not that difficult to figure out what I'm trying to accomplish by doing that.

Oh, and then I'll actually do career...So Yeah.

Same as I did in GT4, 1 lap of some random small car (in GT4 it was the Yaris RS) on Nurburgring, or maybe Bathurst if it is included. Then enter GT mode and go through all the options and dealerships soaking it all in. After that, buy my first used car and check out the licenses, so on and so fourth. :)

I'd go to arcade mode and check out features like damage, weather first. After that, license test of course.

Career mode. I'll go through the licenses first to familiarise myself with the new physics in various types of car. Then i'll just go on from there.

If you haven't noticed, I'm a new-er member here. In fact, I joined the site on 9/21/10, which the last message on that thread was the 25th, which surely is buried in the newer posts and probably on the 5th or 6th page by now.

Trolling aside, I created this because there are new features that have been introduced and brought out into the public eye. I'm excited regardless of when this is released in summer or fall. I'm pretty sure everybody else would be.

First thing i'll do is options
Switch all assists off
Set the wheel
Turn race music off
Custom hud (please let me remove)
Set up the surround sound
Configure the headtracking
Probably run around naked
Hit the GT mode.

I will probably stare at the unopened box and admire the fact that it is actually released. Its been a LONG road.

1) Go to Arcade Mode, choose most powerful car, then ram head first into a wall.
2) Start the Liscence tests

And from there, who knows?

Exorcet's guide to GT5

Step 1 - gain infinite cars and money from GT5P

Step 2 - go online

Step 3 - host ultra realistic ALMS GT1 class race

Step 4 - Continue racing until controller/wheel breaks

Start from scratch like i always have done with previous Gran Turismo games! Do my licences tests and if there are missions do them. Then start the my career! Maybe take a peak at online, and try a race with my used car.

1. Watch the intro/movie
2. Set my options (km/h, kw etc)
3. Go through every dealer and admire the cars
4. Go through the used car yard (or whatever there is)
5. Buy a used EG Civic preferably in that purple-blue colour. Not because I particularly like the car, but because it has been my first car since GT1.
6. Do the Sunday Cup (or its equivalent, presuming that it still doesn't require a license to do that)
7. Complete B license and then work my way through the game...

Licenses.

You need to add 'Licenses' to the list!

I'm with this guy 👍 Plus, many others you should add some more options in the poll, imo.

First thing I'm going to do is check out the dealerships, particularly the big guns like Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bugatti, McLaren, etc.

This man speaks my mind.

Just replace Civic with an old Levin/Trueno.

The very first thing I would do is go to Best Buy and buy the game. Then once I get the game in the PS3, I'll look at the dealerships and tracks.
