chrome? owns? avatar?

most words that are censored are supposed to be "slang" words, with a sexual or violent meaning... i don't get these.

i think we're stuck with people that only know chatroom talk. I wouldn't want to see them taking a school test...

u
ur

Forget the censor; anybody using these two 'abbreviations' should be put up against the wall and shot.

biatch
anything ending in 'z'

Okay, we finally have one other person who understands this thread.

"viper" was a bad joke.

But maybe viper should be stricken from any future member names...the poor fella's gonna get lambasted for life by choosing Dodge's marquee product in his username.

I see what you mean, pupik. "u" and "ur" might make good additions...

Could you also do something about punctuation and capitalization? Its increadibly annoying when some one posts a paragraph worth of stuff and there are no caps or punctuation.

u biatch! I hate ur gutz!

No, it would most likely either appear as "*" and "**," or Jordan would make it so that u becomes 'you' and ur becomes 'your,' although that would surely promote laziness, and there's enough of that at the GTP already.

Ah, controversy. This was a bad joke gone wrong, but somehow getting a bit of support.

Although w00t and d00d should be on the list, I don't think you can really censor U or UR because phrases like URL wouldn't make it.

I just wanted "chrome" and "avatar" censored from the new thread titles.

mmm I think the obvious should suffice, I gotta say pupik your going abit far by saying that lol should be banned? I wouldn't want to type laugh out load all the time would you? :argue:

I dont want "lol" to be censored to: *** Why would you censor "lol" (Laughing out loud) when it is not bad? That would be like banning "Camaro".

PS.. You better not censore "Camaro"

If you keep bugging Jordan; he might censor Camaro. :P

I wasnt even bugging Jordan in the first place. :P All I was saying was please please don't 🤬 "Camaro"

Nah that wouldn't happen, would it?

I mean who would want to say that in the first place?

Bogun?

Thats almost the best word ive heard in years. There are only like 3 members that use the damn word.

Although I totaly agree with you about ur and rotfl and lol.

Member warnings maybe if too many of those occur in users posts would also be good.

Before we go around censoring certain words, how about we get moderators on the job first?? I mean, I've been desperately wanting to report a certain member for misuse of language (u', ur', z, etc..) But the moderator modding that particular forum is not an active member no more. Maybe we should get mods onto the job that'll do it without leaving, before we go around changing rules. Whats the point in changing rules (or guidelines) if there is no mod to enforce it??

This is absurd, I do not like all these common words banned. I oughta beat the **** out of that guy who made a thread like this.

Since when do we live an a Communist country I think we should be able to say what we want when we want and not have a bunch of people who think there better than everyone telling us what to say. The way some people talk on these boards defines their personality so I don't think we should do anything.
