The Championship will feature 6 races at Kart Tracks/Small Tracks i.e Autumn Ring Mini

There will be one race per week that runs for 20 laps, the race will be held every Saturday afternoon at approximately 16.00 GMT, if you cannot attend most of the races for the championship you should consider opting out as there might be someone who would like to take your place

There will be up to 3 teams with up to 3 drivers per team, you should paint all of your karts the same colour and should decide the team name between yourselves

Please can you all bare in mind that this is a fairly relaxed championship and we don't mind about the odd collision with other drivers because the championship was designed purely for having fun!

I might be interested if a decent group forms. I'd prefer the races to be a little longer, like maybe 15-20 laps. 10 laps on short tracks like that would be over too quickly.
 
Okay then 15 laps it is...if you have another 2 drivers that would be willing to take part then you can form yourself a team! :)

Any thoughts on running some custom kart tracks? There aren't that many regular tracks in the game that are really good for the karts, but I've made some great custom tracks designed with karts in mind and they are a ton more fun to run on than the standard tracks. A lot of the standard tracks have some nasty bumps that play havoc with the karts but custom tracks can be made with no bumps at all. I could share a couple of my kart tracks for you to check out if you're interested.

Cool. I'll try to get one up in the next hour or two. If we use them in the league I would post the track for download for the whole week before the race so everybody will have a chance to save it and practice on it.

I have a custom kart track posted for download if anybody else is interested. Just send me a friend invite and put "karts" in the subject. After I'm on your list, go to "community" in GT Life, click on my name. You will see a track logo toward the lower left of the screen. Click that and you can download it from there.

I'd be up for multiple races too. Maybe we could do heat/feature races, like a 5 lap race to determine qualifying order followed by a 15 lap feature race. Do that for 2 different tracks and we'd have 4 races per race day.

Okay so that's two teams officially in the championship

New Rules: There will now be one 20 lap race instead of a 15 lap race which we hope will make for some very competitive racing
 
Hey Tom, The race will last about 10-15 minutes. With the hassle of getting people together we should race more. Do 5 tracks with 15 laps instead.
 
I love the sound of this! Can I get in on the action?
If so can I have #17? Oh & would prefer to be in EastCoastMotorsports as I love the Blue Kart, Also It'll be a GTP race team haha.

and Batey the reason that we're doing one 20 lap race is because that I am currently in school and I need to fit it around studying and revising 👍
 
20 laps is a good number, long enough to be an actual race and worth practicing for but not so long that it interferes with the rest of the day.

I'm looking for teammates, if anybody's interested.

I usually have number 1 but its taken so il go number 2.
BTW yes to qualification. please and tyre wear. And can I use one of my tracks for one of the races I will give a guided tour if you want before you make a decision. Its quite a twisty circuit even in an X1 with new racing soft tyres and full wing level it struggles to do more than 90 round a corner. Great fun though.

Right there are now no spaces left in the championship and just to clarify we won't be doing a qualifying session, i'll just set the grid order to fastest first but we will have a practice on free run before-hand
