So after realizing that all the dragging in GT5 was unorganized with no goals or achievements, I decided to create a system that would take all the chaos out of dragging. More details about the creation of GTP drags HERE.
Now, I will try to host these drag rooms every Saturday at 5:00PST. This week, the theme will be "Old Timers".
Here are the brackets. Please post if you want to participate. First come first serve
· ALL launches will be via ghost.
· The pair in the top bracket will go first. They will complete their 3 runs consecutively while the rest of the competitors are waiting their turn either in the pits or watching. If they are watching, they must be in a location that does not interfere with the performance of the 2 current draggers.
· Follow themes and restrictions of the given event.
· Spectators ARE allowed. HOWEVER they must be in pits using the “Watch Race” function.
· If you have connection problems, notify the host. If you are unable to continue, your current opponent will be recognized as having beaten you.
· GIVE THE WINNER THEIR PRIZE!! Not doing so will put you name on a blacklist of people who are not eligible to participate in any GTP Drags EVER AGAIN
· No ramming, hitting, unnecessary honking or otherwise disruptive and unruly behavior. Act as if you are in a real car.
· If you lose, you lose. There will always be people in this world that will be better than you. The sooner you realize that the sooner you make the lives of your competitors easier.
· SHOW UP ON TIME!! The drag rooms will be created prior to the event and you are free to use that time for practice. If you are late, your competitor will be recognized as having beaten you and you are exempt from that specific tournament.
· No aids are will be allowed in any Drag event. If you are accustomed to dragging with TCS or SRF then get used to driving without them.
· THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF ALL!!! Have fun

Title of Room: GTP Drags –Old Timers.
Theme: Classic car drags!! You can use any non-race car that was manufactured in the year 1979 OR OLDER. You can use cars from ANY manufacture. If you are not sure about a car, PM me, DaLightninRacer or post in the thread.
Prizes: One Stage 3 turbo kit per dragging member (8 total).

i thought we drag race in "ghost" cars.
