I hate to complain, because I do appreciate the seasonals and love the game but ... Minis again? Really? Does BMW pay GT5 to feature the Mini, because I don't see the appeal. Supposedly fun to drive, blah blah, I don't get it because they are not ... there are sooooo many similarly powered FWD cars that are much more fun.
How about an S2000 event so we can use one of the 500 or so in our garages, LOL.
Oh well, I'll skip this one, driven the Mini enough in this game already.

The miata race struck one off the list, next skyline/RX7/mitsu 3kGT's. Not that I'm complaining, I'd like to do those all.

We had a compact class seasonal already, so why another event like this with just one model to chose from?
i´ll skip this one too, i think. mby trial mountain gets a ride or two, because this track is just awesome. however, to make money i´ll stick with the real world seasonal. didn´t try with all my prototypes yet

Had a blast in my "passionate pink" original Mini Cooper, as I can't stand the new minis.
Full weight reduction, all mods (but standard 4-speed gearbox) and engine tuning, stage 1 turbo.
I tried it with standard tyres on the mini ring, but it was not quick enough to gain the 25 secs, so I retuned it to have more grip and be more tail-happy. Soft slicks at the front, hards at the rear. Lowered the rear and stiffened the springs and anti roll. Loosened the LSD under acceleration too. It was a hoot to drive - accelerator on pretty much all the time and left-foot braking to get the nose round. In the lead by lap 5/7.
I would like to tune it so it can win on worse tyres, but I didn't have long this morning before work. Also, I think that on the longer tracks, top speed might be an issue so swapping out the gearbox might be necessary.
Good fun though.

Eww.. New BMW Mini is one of the most overhyped FF's in the game

different rewards for Level 40 players, why are you awarding me XP points?

Find these events quite a big challenge in sports hard. Trial mountain and Tsukuba are doable in stock for sports hard. The others I gotta use sports medium. The London track I barely win with sports soft AND extra hp upgrade. Anyone won everything with sports hard yet? Wonder which other tracks I should revisit with sports hard. All assist off except abs 1 and

My stepfather had one of the first New Minis when they came to the US. That was because my sister worked for BMW and bumped him up to the top of the list.
At the time, they were like clown cars, nothing like it on the road. People would stare or wave. It was great. I thought it was pretty fun to drive as well.
Now though, they are fatter and everywhere. Rather have one of those new Fiat 500s (Abarth of course).
