I just had that, went back to main menu, and a message server maintenance :(
This seems to happen just when I get home from work, ready to run the seasonals! Nice timing, still I imagine it makes sense somewhere in the world, just not the UK.

The miata race struck one off the list, next skyline/RX7/mitsu 3kGT's. Not that I'm complaining, I'd like to do those all.

Looking forward to the updated OCD. Wonder what comes next?

We've already had at least 2 Seasonals strictly for RX7s and at least 1 if not 2 for skylines/gtrs, whe have you been? The only ones really left are the S2000s and the 3000gt's

Find these events quite a big challenge in sports hard. Trial mountain and Tsukuba are doable in stock for sports hard. The others I gotta use sports medium. The London track I barely win with sports soft AND extra hp upgrade. Anyone won everything with sports hard yet? Wonder which other tracks I should revisit with sports hard. All assist off except abs 1 and :ill: driving line.

I won London gold with Mini Cooper S '05 equipped with sports hard. ABS 1, no other aids. 201 HP, 414 pp. Customized trans and suspension. This is the most challenging of the races and a car that wins here will have an easy time in the other races.

Yes, I read the news about new seasonal, turn on the game and then GT server down for maintenance :grumpy:

And I am home sick :grumpy:

I'll be logging on after the maintenance with my 'classic' mini & see what I can do. Until then I'll be playing Driver!

I wish we could get some longer seasonal races, what about weather changes? It's still a great game but is seems we only get a little portion thrown at us.

Are the prizes still the same,Hats for first, paint for second, beepers for third?

I'm tired of these quick sprint races. Why not do 4 like that if they must and then give us at least one longer race, about 15-20 laps or a 30-40 minute race? Enough for a pit stop. And don't make it to where you can be in first in the first half of the race.

Did it in a Mini 1.3i '98 (the only way to do it). Was a HARD challenge, especially london. Had to tune it up, dumped massive ballast on the front to counter the wheelspin.

Tsukuba again FFS! Maybe Kaz and Tsukuba should get married. Why not use TGTT instead? Or Eiger Nordwand short course or...anything else other than Tsukuba, its boring and its overdone by now. Is 9 hours of racing it not enough?

Done them all with a stock Cooper S '05 on sport mediums.
Try that for a good challenge!

I tried Tsukuba with a bone stock "Cooper S `02 (CS tyres)".Ended 3rd with 7 secs off.
Trial Moutain was easy with this car.Won by over 10secs.

Edit :

Eifel track 2nd , 2 secs off.Can be won with better driving.

I used sport hards, still easy..👍

For the faster drivers out there, try comfort soft bone stock 07' car in London then. I can't even manage with stock 07' in sports medium. will go back to try again. Any tips or ghost replay is appreciated. :)

LOL I fell asleep several times during the endurance event - good job I was several laps ahead! At least this track isn't too bad with the smaller/slower cars.

This.

I spent the first race in the stock Cooper on CS with no aids driving around the other cars. It was a close race but hardly a challenge. I didn't even bother with the kart track. I went and did a 30 lap NASCAR oval race in arcade mode. :grumpy:

How about a seasonal endurance DP? 25 laps of Autumn ring in a low PP car?

I think its the 4th time or more i've seen a new mini cup in the gt-series... Guess they are too busy atm to be bothered using a bit of imagination... Oh well at least the latest seasonals have been awesome. I cant expect sunshine every day

Haven't had a chance to run this yet but I see that it can be done in the '98. That's the one for me then! 👍
