It appears very reminiscent of the Test Track from all previous titles. 100m painting(s) on a long straight. This would indeed be the drag racing mecha!

Definately looks like the old test track to me! The 100m increments were on the front straight and went up to 1500....possible DLC? Yes very possible as they could have spent the time remodeling the track for the new console

Sure looks like the old test track, i hope we will be able to dragrace 402m & 1 mile, 0-300km/h challenge and so on, would be a little addition that would make a huge difference!

Yeah you're right.
Something I have noticed is there seems to be two versions, one with white distance road markings and the other with yellow. Also it's got a track generator look to it, I hope this isn't something PD just quickly whip up in seconds to show off the speed of the X2011 and not even allow us to do it.

Anyhow, if they put it in the opening movie, why won't they make it available for us to drive? A whole straight (or even more) developed just for a trailer seems a little bit odd to me...

Sounds logical, however we have seen wind tunnels, Multi-storey car parks, docks and more in trailers which have never shown up in game even if just a photo travel location.

I wouldn't be so sure. We have seen so many things that didn't make to final game. We even have some things that are in the game but you can't use them (wet TGTT or Tuscany).
