So we now got a bigger test track in GT5.(Just what we needed in all(?) GT games.)

How about making it a bit more exiting by adding another stage of tuning?

Like we had in older GT's, i am really up for having a stage 4 tuning-set available!

Stage 4 Tuning parts:
- Turbo/Stage 2 Supercharger (More boost pressure!)(intercooler's as well!)
- Engine (More RPM and bigger displacement!)
- Weight (Think it's good, but maybe you got something to share?)
- Exhaust (Side-pipe's maybe?)
- Suspension(Also be able to change chaster and each angle individually, as in Nascar.)
- Drivetrain (Dual-cluch System or Trippel plate cluch)(Maybe rebuilding drivetrains as well?)

What do you think?

That would be cool. Imagine the POOOOWWWEEEEERRRRR you could get from cars with a stage 4 turbo, and the lag...

The Viper ACR has side exhausts.
At the moment I'm wanting the ability to change a turbo's psi.
And have anti-lag and launch control systems.

Would make the rallies a bit more exciting.

Not really, it's just my opinion. ;)

Gran Turismo is about realism. Sure a bit of tuning options won't do any harm. But I don't want it to turn into a fake arcade game like NFS. 💡

Funny you should mention that, because the things they are asking for have already been in previous GT games.

I know. But they have begun to focus on realism more with the release of the PS3. They've replicated cars with such details now.

I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't want that stuff to come back...
Including pretty much all my friends who play GT5 to name a few.

I'm sorry if I came across as rude. But the idea of 1,000bhp cars is hardly "fake" or "arcade" like.

The ability to get my cars to over 1,000bhp would make the game a lot more enjoyable for me. Obviously I wouldn't use the cars for normal track racing because I'd imagine they'd have some terrible lag. But I do like to partake in some Wangan Midnight style motorway racing on SSR7 with a few friends, and the ability to have cars this powerful would make it a lot more exciting.

Besides, it's the age old case of "If you don't like it, don't use it.", I can't imagine it'd take that much work to put Stage 4 turbos and the like in the game.

Isn't there a Mustang with 1000hp somewhere?

There are alot of Mustangs with 1000hp. In fact, in a lot of tuner circles, street legal cars running 800+ hp are becoming quite common, at least around where I live. So to the guy or anyone that says it isn't realistic, I respectfully and whole-heartedly disagree.

I think someone tuned a Shelby Cobra to have 2000 hp or something like that (had like 2 ro 4 superchargers or turbos on it, lol, it looked insane, I think it also had a v12 engine or something, I'd have to go find it, it was in some tuning magazine I saw once)

On one hand I'd love to be able to get over 1000-1200HP from all those Skylines and so on, but on the other - they're already useless with "just" 800HP due to lack of downforce, why don't the front spoilers and wings don't provide any downforce at all?

Before considering adding more power can we please have ceramic brake upgrades? :)

PD, are you reading this?

Rather than more engine upgrades to this vast amount of power the game has given us, we should get the selection of tires GT3 gave us, Super soft, soft, Super slick, Ect ect :dopey:

Me, i rather would want this in GT6 but, it would be appreciated if they added this in a Update in GT5
