I was crusing the pages of autoblog.com and came across a post that stated that RUF was going to put their personal touches on an 991, and it got me thinking of a senario...
How awesome would it be if PD and RUF got together to produce a RUF DLC, to stick it to EA's exclusive Porsche liscense? How popular do you think it would be? what models would you want to see? I know for a fact i'd buy it, and my friends would. I searched for this topic, but didnt find anything.

How popular it would be? Freaking popular. It's one of the things we want more. Premium/newer RUFs.

I would buy it instantly.

i swear i'd buy 2 packs. one just to sit with 0/0/0 and another to actually drive and tune.

You should check out here buddy. :) Theres lots of great RUF cars founded. Scroll down to check them out. ;)

thanks for those links. this concept makes perfect sense to battle EA's liscense, 99% of the GT community would jump on it, and Porsche would see the demand in figures.

No prob. 👍 I love RUF, I find them very amazing looking. I hope PD does make an RUF Pack, featuring them all premium.

The RUF license has to be the most underutilized one by PD... I mean, just look at those cars! They are fantastic!!! That would be the best way to counter-attack EA's lockdown...

If PD made a RUF DLC, I would definitely buy it... 👍

Well said.

5 years making GT5 and we got standard RUFs from GT4 lol. What a...joke.

At least 10 premium RUFs from every era would be fantastic DLC, I'd pay for it instantly. PD's work with this manufacturer is really painfully lazy, because it can be fully satisfying Porsche compensation (with exception of race cars). Yellowbird in premium alone would make my day...

Because RUF is more important than other under-represented manufactures.

I think PD should just concentrate on whatever new cars they can add.

The question is why they didn't originally bother with any new RUFs for GT5, I mean not even one? It has me thinking that something has gone wrong with that license as well.

Nah no need to worry, there just European cars that's all.

Apparantly they have to renew the license deal of each manufacturer for each game so the fact they're included at all indicates no license issues.
My guess it that they were still hoping for a Porsche sublicense yet that doesn't excuse why they didn't make a Premium Yellowbird/BTR.
After all, they could simply use the modelling done for those cars for the aircooled 911's once they finally do get a Porsche license and it would ensure GT5 at least has a Premium 911, the other Standard Rufs would probably be outdated (and still not classics) by the time that happens.

If they made a premium Yellowbird, I'd want it to handle exactly the same way it doesn now.

Please do tell?

Just look up Porsches history mate. Google it or something.

Then do the same for RUF and compare the pedigree.

My opinion for what it's worth is that Porsche does Porsche the best. (Daft really)
