...And so it begins! 👍

I'll be sure to be here on the 3rd June! I know what car I want

Nice work jamesy 👍

looks like something i would be interested in. could you please give more detail on race spec cars and the # of laps for each race. you mention that all three tire specs will have to be used and starting on tires you quailify with. race strategy would be helped with distance information.

Thanks

Hi thanks for viewing

race distance is yet to be determined (but about 1hours 20 or so mins)
there will be a pit window as in the real FIA GT after so many laps.

cars are all different power and weight but all 580PP
havetested cars to see they are all about the same speed.

thanks again for the interest..

understood and thanks. also it appears that there will be only one of each car availible is that correct? this would mean as you mention if your first choice has already been taken you must choose another manufacture. this would be different than the international gt series as i dont believe there is a limit on specific cars. just want to be clear before i start doing pre season testing!! :-)

yes that is correct there is only one of each car available, but there is twenty cars to choose from .(but didn't want two the same on track )
you will see that there is five different nations, so i was hoping that we would get at least two of each nation.👍

i guess i better be there when the vehicle choosing starts to get my prefered car. I did see you have some total laps and pit in laps so i have all the information i need.

thanks

I'm definitely interested Jamesy 👍 I have a few cars in mind,( one that you already know). But I'm undecided now about which car because of the pitting :scared:, it would mean that the car i mentioned to you earlier would have to be absolutely perfect when deciding pit strategy

Right jamesy you git! :sly:

This car selection carry-on has given me a right 'heed-ache'

Remember how I said there were 4 cars that I had in my mind, then a 5th pop up......well, today I've made some progress, out of the '4' I'm down to 1 :) yeah!.....BUT the '5th' car is still bugging me and to make matters worse a 6th has muscled in on the action!!!!!! :ouch:

Prehaps I shouldn't be watching the live stream of the Nurburgring 24h!!! Grrrrr

So I've decided to 'buy' the 3 cars I fancy and take them for a few runs around the 'Ring' to see which one I'll go with 👍

....oh and that wasn't an opportunity for you to go looking on my log on GT5 to see what I've just bought!!!!

sounds good ,how about we try some out tonight to see if it will work out.
I think we should keep it to premium cars only and set a maximum PP level.
Should be online from about 8pm..

So what is your tuning method? Are you fitting the cars with everything then engine limiting to the required PP? Or are you only fitting certain parts to bring the PP to the required level?

personally i would bring it up to the PP with at least 99.5% power
but it would be that the bigger engined cars would only get the aero, weight, gearbox and suspension mods then the PP taken and the smaller engines cars brought up to the same PP.

Finally down to 2, one of which I know I want!

Yeah it's decided, ----------- is the one for me!

I'm going to hopefully emulate AMR like they did at the ADAC Nurburgring 24h and like I'm sure they will at the Le Mans 24h on the 16th June! 👍
