I voted C but I meant B. Sorry sweetheart. Anyways it's a pretty great list, thing is that it's missing some other cars that I absolutely adore like the Mercedes SLS McLaren.

I agree with many of your choices. Can't think of all those that would seem relevant right now but the lack of a Subaru Impreza 22B and Mitsubish GTO Twin Turbo caught my eyes.

Nissan 300ZX 2seater (Z32) ’89
- Who didn't like this generation of the Z

Standard?

Good selection of supercars and high end racecars but almost no everyday cars or even slower racers, D.

Your list is an A IMO, but you're missing a few cars.

How about the:

Spyker C8
Saleen S7
Volkswagen W12 Nardo (would be cool to have a premium concept like the 4200R)
Suzuki GSX-R/4 (already has a low-res cockpit view)
Alfa Romeo Spider Duetto
2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
Toyota 2000GT
Mazda Cosmo L10A/B
Jaguar E-Type

You also forgot one RUF, the 3400S. Am I the only one that likes the Porsche Boxster? :P

Lotus Carlton. When this car was launched, it really upset Mercedes Benz and BMW back in the early 90's. Whilst the Merc's and BMW's were electronically limited to 155mph, the Lotus Carlton stormed onto 180+mph, full leather luxury, and the power to scare Ferrari's and the like.

I know I don't want the Veyron in GT6 because it's an overrated pile of crap. I don't agree with billing it as the world's fastest production car because it's only technically true and fails to tell the whole truth - that it's slower than several less powerful production cars around a circuit and you won't ever take it anywhere that you can actually max if out. It's a useless figure if there is virtually no places on Earth that it can actually outrun anything and it can't outrace a list of production cars. It's ugly as sin, too, and looks like the head of a cyborg pig.

Some other good cars:
Tommy Kaira ZZ-S
Jaguar XFR never figured out why this was standard
Lotus Elan
Dodge Viper GTS-R Concept
Hyundai Tiburon/Coupe/Tuscani
Mitsubishi Eclipse

Apart from the ones on the list, I would add the 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Concept, but I'd probably be the only one to say it, so yeah, I agree with that list.

EDIT: Nevermind, I can't read, lol.

Thanks.

The SLS is already premium I believe.

Well that's because most everyday cars aren't worth making premium if they're 5 or 10 years old. As for slower racers its a similar problem, alot of the slower touring/GT cars that are standard are 10 year old DTM or Super GT cars.

Appart from the ones on the list, I would add the 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Concept, but I'd probably be the only one to say it, so yeah, I agree with that list.

It was on the list from day 1 👍

Great list, how did I overlook the Saleen S7 among others

I added all your suggestions except the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Theres a 2011 model of the GT and I dont think there isn't enough special about the 2006 car for it to have a must have spot in GT6's premium car list. Maybe you can convince me otherwise?

I'll be reorganizing the first post by car type and not manufacturer in the new future. I'll also add a small picture by each car for quick reference.

Feel free to make more requests

Nismo 400R (I know it's a just an R33 in a skirt, but I like it)

Impreza 22B

Lotus Elan

Fiat Punto Arbarth

TRD Celica

Lancia Stratos

All the DTM cars

I think the VW W12 is quite relevant as well as the Caddy CIEN,
some more classics
Lancia Stratos
Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA
Ford GT40
Audi Quattro
BMW 2002 Turbo

and theres a lot of relevant cars, your list is pretty much full of race cars and very LMP heavy

Iconic WRC cars are missing, like the Lancia Delta, the stratos
how about the Renault 5 turbo, the scariest rally car ever

or newer stuff like the Peugeot 206 WRC, it represents the best days peugeot had in rallying, think it won 3 consecutive championships with Marcus Gronholm behind the wheel

also, old Hondas are very popular, like the 90s integras and civics, Honda is actually a cool manufacturer, yes its japanese, but its cooler than nissan

Added except for the Fiat and DTM cars. Don't understand why the Fiat is a must have premium unless I'm missing something, and the DTM cars are dated. I think we would much rather have 2012 DTM models unless of course one of the standard cars are legendary or something

If you can be more specific Honda I can add them with good reasoning. I know a little about car history but not as much as most.

If we're gonna have standards in GT6, why not just have all of them back?... unless this list is for the standards that should be super polished or turned to premium.

Also, there's just too many good standards out there that are pleasurable to drive. My few picks are BMW M3 CSL/GTR, Evo series, Sti series, Zondas... I can go on forever really.

Please add the Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo MR '98. It's finishes a golden Japanese circle which includes 300ZX, RX-7, Supra RZ and maybe even the NSX. Despite being heavy, it is still a highly potent car powered by a V6 engine and 4WD drivetrain. I believe this specific model was the peak of the GTO/3000 GT series and rare too. Plus it is the best looking thing Mitsubishi ever made but that observation is purely subjective.

Alright, I'm guessing there will be quiet a few of hundreds of different standards that people want to keep. Chances are most of them (especially all) will not be converted to premium.

Now imagine if in the next GT game, everything is premium, and there are no standards. The people wanting a GT game with premiums only will be satisfied, but then there will be a situation where a lot of people will miss a lot of the standard cars that didn't make it to premium quality.

Lose, lose situation for PD? Yup.

I'll do one better and suggest that everything we have carry over... optionally, of course.

This thread is a good hint at which cars should get the premium treatment next. I don't see the Nissan R390 GT1 Road Car or the Honda NSX-R LM Prototype Road Car in the list. You can argue the Honda, but the R390 is a must have.

This is a list of standard cars that we believe must be in Gran Turismo 6

Hopefully Gran Turismo 6 is premium cars only and standards are dropped all together.

Want to keep or should keep? I'm not so sure all 800 of them have been converted to premium. I'll go a step further and say I dont want all 800 of them converted to premium. Alot of them are useless cars that nobody cares about. This thread is about picking through the trash and finding the gems that deserve the time to be modeled and featured in GT6.

As for people getting furious over a certain standard car not appearing in GT6, why have they not said anything yet? The list is at 66 cars and it may double at best. Keep in mind GT5's standard car list is 800+ strong. So the idea that people can only really list or are happy with such a tiny amount of that 800 being confirmed for GT6 really sheds light on how awful and outdated the standard car list is.

Not the McLaren one. It's the one from GT4.

Im not sure what car you are talking about

There are quite a few more that deserve to be converted.

I'm all ears

The BMW M3 GTR '03 seems like a worthy addition. Definitely a B at the moment though 👍

The car has a great history. Wanted to add the racecar but it's the '01 model. The '03 racecar model finished 1-2 at the Nurburgring 24 hours

and maybe the

the same goes for the spoon ek

All added. Hondas are popular and need to be well represented. The Spoon cars won't be too much extra work on the devleopment crew as a base model for the car will already be created
