Used car dealership in GT6?

I think the used car dealership is a nice feature.

I would like for it to return in GT6, only with used 'premium cars' only. :D

But I guess the UCD was just a place to put the standard cars.
 
i think they should keep the UCD but just use cars that other players are selling, an extra option for the people that don't want to trade cars with their friends.
 
the UCD has always been part of GT, i don't see a reason why it shouldn't be in GT6, the difference is that in older titles, you could buy a car whenever you had the credits required, the UCD was there just to provide better deals

Think about it, a Dealership that will hold 1,500+ cars. That will be an overload. We need a UCD. My idea would be a premium car, that is used and has some miles on it, but for a lower price.

And my point was the same as yours.

Used premium cars in the UCD.

GT4 had 700+ cars, and they managed to sell most of them in the NCD. It's just how they are organized.
 
Make the Used Dealership hold more cars at once. My local car dealer has hundreds of cars. Granted, the selection isnt as good.

Each Company should have its own Used car dealer (GT2)
-It should offer about 70% of the used cars at a time, and rotate on 3 day intervals.
-Some "New" cars should be used ... (2012 FRS used, 1000 miles)

Yeah man, Gran Turismo's spoiling real life for me. I keep popping down to my local used car dealer to see if there's a Gillet Vertigo in yet.

I keep driving to Croft circuit and back, but it doesn't change.
 
The UCD has to be in GT6, it's been in the game since GT2. I agree it could be better implemented, but that isn't to say it shouldn't be in the game at all.

I like the used car dealership. Its always been a part of GT but was horribly mishandled in GT5

My idea:

Every car from the year 2006 and onwards is in the new Car dealership. New cars have 0 miles, are in perfect condition, and are available in factory colors.

Dont make the used car lot separate, each manufacturer should have it's own used car lot right next to the new car lot, just like in GT1.

Used cars should always be available to buy all the time. Their color and condition (mileage, chassis wear etc) should be random and unchangeable until you buy them.

Race cars should be "special models" available in "new" car condition from the dealership no matter their year

yes have the used car dealership but only have selected models thats cheap cars under 100k or so, and also they should have an online auction for cars or people can sell cars/ tunes for in game credit
 
love the UCD for me its great to have something you can do every day on GT, if they were just there itd be too easy and youd get bored, iv been playing pretty much every day for nearly 2 years now and it still throws up surprises, UCD helps maintain the real world feel of GT, older cars should all be in the UCD n newer ones in the dealerships, like real life you cant just go out and buy a new 69 GT40 for example! If all those cars were in one place at one time it would be awful so please keep it!!

I vote yes. I want to keep the used car dealership, with PREMIUM cars only. Its boring to buy cars that are already there in a game. I rather find the cars I want to find that is rare to have/own.
 
I say that older cars like the Ferrari F40, Dodge Viper GTS '02, Corvette C5 '04, Ferrari 512BB and the Nissan 300ZX should be in the used car lot. (I used these premiums as an example.)

While newer cars like the Lamborghini Aventador, Gallardo and Aston Martin V12 Vantage should be in the new car lot.
 
It would be nice if PD used this as a pretext to fix the problems with their implementation of it since the series' inception (ridiculous depreciation, nonsensical rotation), but I'd just as soon not have it at all if the main problems with GT5's setup (terrible rotation system, stupid prices and use as a dumping place for Standard cars rather than any logical selection) come back.

Like in GT4, there should be a UCD like how the modern cars was seperated from the historic cars. Such as the modern UCD should have '90s to '00s cars in the dealership, and the historics should have '50s to '80s.
