Used car dealership in GT6?

All cars should be available at all times. The random avaiability of 800 cars is a cute idea but many of us don't have hours and hours and hours to waste trolling through the UCD to find what we want. Depriving people who want to play your game of vehicles they want to drive when they have jumped through all the licensing and levelling hoops doesn't make any sense to me.

Your poll question is poorly worded OP. The question should have been more along the lines of "Should all cars in the game be available for purchase at all times, yes or no?" A UCD could have 30 cars in it or 800.

Yep I totally agree! I have no problem if PD make two separate dealerships but have a consistent ratio of car's made available from the get-go!

Make a sub-category special dealership if needs be for some really exotic stuff that only comes now and then. But for the most part, have 1100 cars always available to the Player. And make a MASSIVE A-SPEC Please! 500-1000 events if not more! I want beginner, intermediate, expert etc to take time to finish! With a large array of cars this would be a lot more fun to put thought into what to drive!

Yes to used cars, but make them all available through separate used car sections at each dealer like older games. They could possibly have a special dealer for historic race cars which are fully restored to as new condition.

the UCD should be included like you are going to the internet to search for a cheap car for some races like putting the price that you are looking for and the milage too but not all models would be avalaible at all time

The UCD is a pain in the behind, its the reason why if i open a online room right now with guys that have played GT5 since launch ( i.e. 2and a half years ) and say lets have a stock GT40 race car event, it wont be able to happen, because some people will only have it tuned or not have it at all, and they wont be able to go buy one right then, how does that make sense?.

To get the car you want you have wait days in real time for GT5 to say ok you can buy it now, I dont get how anyone enjoys that.

All used cars should be available to purchase from the start. There are vintage cars and pre-2013 cars in the NCD with zero mileage. It should be the same for the ucd.

Definitely yes.

Having all cars available all the time sounds good, but

the used car arrangement in GT4 added a wrinkle to the game I sort of liked.

Having different cars show up on a weekly schedule, adds a little mystique and immersion to the game.

Although, there were times I wished I could buy a particular car without having to wait for it to show up until next year.

As long as they have them in some fashion, I don't think I'll be disappointed.

I like the used car dealership. Its always been a part of GT but was horribly mishandled in GT5

My idea:

Every car from the year 2006 and onwards is in the new Car dealership. New cars have 0 miles, are in perfect condition, and are available in factory colors.

Dont make the used car lot separate, each manufacturer should have it's own used car lot right next to the new car lot, just like in GT1.

Used cars should always be available to buy all the time. Their color and condition (mileage, chassis wear etc) should be random and unchangeable until you buy them.

Race cars should be "special models" available in "new" car condition from the dealership no matter their year

I already forgot how good it was implemented back in the days of GT1, you want a second hand NSX you go to the Honda dealer makes perfect sense instead of having to go on the net and calculate on which day the car you want will be available in GT5's UCD... I was starting races only to cancel them so a day would pass in order to get that car quicker how stupid is that...

I also think Forza's auction house system has some charm, as you really buy a second hand car from another Forza player + you can bid on them or buy them directly at a reduced price if you're lucky.

Definitely, used or not, all cars should be available at any time. Or at least you should get a notification when the car you're looking for is made available.

The UCD should have all cars available. They need to put the rare cars really expensive around 1 million or 2.
