A quick suggestion for next season. If we keep the ballast penalties, it should go something like this.

1st- 25kg
2nd- 15kg
3rd- 10kg

The only change is that now 3rd gets a 10kg penalty instead of a 15kg penalty. It doesn't make sense for the 3rd place finisher of a race to get the same penalty as as 2nd place.

Theres not much difference in 5kg, plus its a podium finish. I'm thinking of a more complex ballast system, but the 25kg, 15kg, 10kg top 3 seems good. So we can leave it at that. That way if you get 3rd twice in a row you're not as heavy as someone who gets 2nd twice in a row either. That said I think I may join you in the McLaren, or maybe I'll run the Nissan

Ill def be in for this again.

Sinladar/kakarot/Mike/R390 GT1 or CLK GTR/PST

Haven't made a final choice on car yet. I'll def be going with either the nissan or merc tho, Ill do some testing later.

Cool, hope we get more SOLID interest this season, the cars are a little slower but they're still plenty fast, and we have more choices!

Hey Sin, if you want we can run the R390's again. You're a great team mate

If fresh would allow 3 cars per manufacturer, we could choose the CLK and fresh, you and I could be team mates. Sin and I talked a bit about it. How about it fresh. Your other team mate hardly showed. We would make a good team. 👍
If not I think Sin & I are driving for Nissan's again. :)

Hi, I'd be interested, I'll sign up!

llFERll <-- "ll" are lower case "L"/FERGT2690/FER/Zonda LM/CDT (GMT -5 hours)

Maybe we could make the ballast penalty for 3rd 5kg. That way, it goes from 25kg, to 15kg, to 5kg, making it a 10kg difference for each position on the podium.

5kg is too small of a penalty and makes little difference in the cars handling. Besides 15kg to 10kg isn't too far, and it's the same with the points difference. 20 points for 2nd and 18 for 3rd isn't a huge difference.

Ok made my mind up going with the CLK this season. The R390 is my favorite of the 3 but dont want to get bored of driving the same car too often.

Tyson will be joining me on team CLK.

That's for sure team mate :)

I just wanted to propose a change for points next season if possible. I don't like the 2 point separation between 2nd and 3rd, and then the 3 point separation between 3rd and 4th.

1st.25pts. 2nd.20pts. 3rd.16pts. 4th.13pts. 5th.11pts. 6th.10pts. 7th.9pts. 8th.8pts.

I think I'll make the bonus points worth more. Pole maybe 3 points, fastest lap worth 2. The points payouts could go something close to your proposal, but I think I'll keep the top 3 as is. 25, 20, 18 for 1st through 3rd. The podium positions should be rewarded better, so instead I'll keep it that way and the rest will go- 4th 15 points; 5th 13 points; 6th 11 points; 7th 9 points; 8th 8 points; 9th 7 points 10th 6 points .

Some concerns were brought up about the McLaren and it being faster than the other cars. I don't believe this is the case from my personal testing. But I dropped it's power to 520hp for season two compared to 525hp for the Mercedes and Nissan.

So what will the tracks for next season be?

Seth, I noticed that you're signed up for the McLaren next season.

I was going to use the Nissan this season, but I felt I was too fast in it. The McLaren was a car I wanted to use because it's acceleration and lower weight. But I chose the Mercedes this season because it was quick, and easy to drive. I think all these cars are about the same, you just have to get the most out of them. Find something you're comfortable with not which car you think is the fastest. It may be fast but hard to drive when low on tires. The McLaren might have that problem, but I like the way it feels in turns. As for tracks, they'll mostly be the same. Instead of Tokyo though, I think SSR5 will take it's place as the street course. Madrid might be added to the European season also. And if we get Silverstone in DLC I'm adding that as well.

That sucks, I like Tokyo R246 in reverse. SSR5 is good though. Not sure about Madrid. Hopefully Silverstone gets added before GT6.

I lost major time trying to enter the pits at 246 Reverse, not because I was too fast entering, but because the game glitched on me and slammed me into the wall. The regular layout at least lets you carry speed and doesn't have walls that smack you silly. So perhaps that may be included, but not the reverse layout.

I agree tokyo in reverse is bad, but I like it going forward. I think we should keep it just use the regular one this time around.

Also imo the mclaren is the fastest car of the 3 but thats in my hands. I dont think it needs a power cut I think its speed comes from its light weight. While it may not need to be a full 1000kg I do think 950kg is too light.

Just my 2 cents, Tokyo 246 is better forwards. SSR5 is really hard on tires. Rome might be the best street circuit for this series.

I think Tokyo flows better in reverse. Judging by my lap times though, I'm probably the only one who thinks this.

I don't know if I'll keep Tokyo. Maybe. For now though SSR5 is confirmed on season two's track list. I've never had much of an issue with tire wear there. Just smooth inputs and you should be fine. As for the McLaren, if it's fastest in your hands, use it. I'll give it up and take the Nissan if you want it.

Rome is too short in lap time IMO. I'd rather the original Rome from previous GT games. If anyone wants another street course I will think about Madrid.

Im going to stick with the CLK Ive been looking forward to using it. However I do plan on using the Mclaren for season 3.

Hello, I'm interested in signing up for the GTS class (C5-R). Depending on what time and day is decided on. I'm on Pacific time.

Oh, I would vote for Madrid for a street course if that matters to anyone.

Edit:

Would the Camaro LM Race Car ever be considered being allowed in the GTS class?

With the Corvette in the lineup I don't see a need for the Camaro. Unless it raced in the 90's or early 2000's. I'll look it up.
