Ok, I wasn't able to find anything like this and figured I couldn't put it under the racing series or clubs since it's not really either.

It's in the time-trial mode since this will be against the clock. So, if your laptime goes red, it's not being entered in the spreadsheet. I'll enter the data when people post in the thread with their times, please use the following format for consistancy:

example - tezgm99; Renault 5 Maxi Turbo, DS3, ABS 1, auto transmission, engine at 95.6%, 1:44.801s

I'll give a week for each track (edit: round 1 being the exception due to busy schedules), so you can continue to tweak the setup and chisel away at your best laptime. No prize to give away, this is purely for people who want some fun with the rally cars.

Car tuning is open for transmission, differential and suspension, but no weight reduction, ballast or power increase (no turbo boost, no engine stages, etc…just an oil change or engine rebuild). Chassis rigidity is optional. Full downforce required for every car, front and rear. All driving aids off except for ABS of 1 (you can use 0 of course if you prefer), mechanical damage off and grip reduction set to 'real'.

Of course, being in arcade time-trial mode, there is no way of keeping track of whether the regulations are being followed; it’s entirely up to the honour system. You'll have to save your best lap though since, if someone thinks your time is dodgy, they're entitled to ask to see the replay of it along with the setup you used (hey, we're all trying to get better in this thing right? Different tunes to try out are always appreciated).

The idea; three tracks, three surfaces, three eras of rally cars to use in the arcade time-trial.

Alas, this seems to fall flat on its face....oh well, it sounded like a good idea when I thought of it :/

I can't claim to be even decent at Rallying but you've piqued my interest. I'm game.

I'm in 👍

Now i just need a better way to E-brake(reaching to shifter buttons sucks)

I found out, while testing (the Renault is a second off the Lancia S4...but has lots of oversteer so there is more time to be gained hence why the same tyre compound) that in the TT mode, you don't put any miles on the cars so you don't have to worry about ruining your 0/0/0 cars 👍

I'm interested in this too. I'm worried I don't have many rally cars in my collection, I'll have to check cause I never have a reason to use them so I don't know. I do have 600 cars in which I've probably used 50 at best LOL.

I have the following standard cars that can be sent since they're under the price limit: Ford Escort, Lancia Delta Integrale, Mitsubishi CZ-3 Tarmac, Mitsubishi Evo Super, Nissan 240RS, Peugeot 206, Subaru Impreza '99, Subaru Impreza '01 (both the normal and prototype), Toyota GT-Four (ST185) and the Toyota Corolla.

Also, I edited the car list to show if they're standards or premiums.

If any1 needs rally cars, let me know. I probably have almost/if not all of them.

I checked and the only rally car I have for the first round is the Ford RS200. Would be grateful if You guys could send some that are under 1 million.

Standard RC's I don't have (or can't use due to engine staging, dang it) and when they're next scheduled to show up in my UCD:
Mitsubishi Lancer Evo '97 - 28 days
Ford Focus '99 - 197 days

I know the Peugeot can't be sent since it costs about 2 million....however, it looks like people can adjust the setup if you put them on share and they borrow it so we might be able to get around it 💡

Give me a few minutes to send off a FR and I'll send you the Nissan 240RS 👍

Haven't played this game in forever, nor do I bother tuning, but I'll play.

I realized last night when I checked mygranturismo that I have the regular RS200...So I've got 1 car for round 1.

EDIT: I just got an idea for a unique 4th round for trucks on dirt. I have the SSR, RAM, Silverado, & F-150.

So after looking @ what i have, i've got everything except Round 2 Ford's(escort & focus), & a stock version of the suby '01 prototype from Round 3. If you have any of these three or need any of the other standards, PM me. A lot of the (s)cars i have are the 0/0/0(from tickets & events, right?).

I have the Ford Escort and prototype Impreza....and yeah, most of my 0/0/0 have been from tickets/events. I think I may have even picked up a couple from the OCD but can't remember :/

I should start adding some more cars to my garage so that I can start trying them out to see which car is better.

I've had this game since January 2011 and I don't even have 100 cars.

Speaking of cars, how is everyone going with hunting them down? Some of us do have several and can dupe if required (provided they cost less than 1 million of course) so just ask 👍

If you have another account and haven't done the rally special events, they take about 2 hours to do and you get rally car ticket, and historic rally ticket. I can send mine out later this week if someone needs it.

I took a quick check at what cars I have so far, and the only car I don't have is the Nissan 240RS.

The last time I played this, I had a Rally craze and somehow obtained a whole lot of them already

I'll trade you the 240RS for the ford focus rally car from round 2.

Ran Tez's Maxi @ Monaco fastest lap was 1.40.3xx, but then next lap was 2 tenths up but lost it @ chicanes. I probably could hit a mid to high 39 at best.

By the way im running two wheels on tarmac at the infamous chicane even though the game lets you cut there....

Ya, Tez. Can we get a ruling on the chicane? I vote for no tires over rumble strips.

I'm leaning towards two wheels on the tarmac and two on the rumble strips since I'm guessing most people also use the red and white strip for that right-hander just after the hairpin and I don't want to have two rules in place :/

I think that's the system that the British Touring Cars use if I remember correctly.

I don't have any of the number one classes

lifesagamble420; Ford RS200 Rally car Round 1: Class B, ABS 1, manual transmission, engine at 90.6, 1:48:824

lifesagamble420; Subaru Impreza WRC, Round 2. ABS 1, Manual transmission, engine at 91.5%, 1:18:765

lifesagamble420; Subaru Impreza WRC, Round 3. ABS 1, Manual transmission, engine at 91.5%, 2:18:124
(didn't go with more horsepower, and still only had one clean lap out of like 20) Car got a little beat up too haha)

I'd be interested in this. Not a tuner myself, nor have I ever entered a time trial before, but being such a huge rally fan I can't miss it. 👍

If anyone is struggling on cars, I have every tradeable rally car in the game, so I'll gladly dupe one. I also have a spare Peugeot 206 if anyone wants it. :D
