You tune your car so that you can short shift instantly after launching.. It doesn't work online, only in the Speed Test...

Ok Kewl I got lost with all the different kinds of launches I just hold e brake the go

That is fine online.

Retro launches never work online. People use it on SSRX to get faster times, but if you want a legit time like you would run on Indy, you wouldn't use the retro launch. All my times are WITHOUT the retro launch.

Ok well that's what I thought. All of my times for cars are mainly awd and 4wd because those are the easiest to tune. I'm starting to work on red and mr.

onec you tune a few FR and MR cars it will be just as easy to tune as the AWD cars.

Yeah, awd suspension is usually a more basic setup, but trans is equally difficult.

Did you get my pm reply r4 ?

I pretty much makes the first 3 gears into like a triple super quick shift thingy

Eloquently said, I make my 1-2 tight and progressively space them apart, any shift lag especially in the first 3 gear changes really kills you.

2-3rd is the worst, 3-4th is the second worst. Most of my cars are killed between 2-3rd.

I remember I used to get that thing to do 1,000mph with a GT-R tune bro

What did you get with PTK's GTR tune? LF-A is nothing compared to that tune...

Can I put your LF-A gears in that?

Yes, you can. However it is not easy because of the way the model T flywheel is created. You must be very easy on the throttle when launching because the clutch and flywheel weren't created for so much power, but it is possible, no doubt. The Chassis Rigidity helps EXTREMELY when using this transmission and technique.

Really now? See I thought the chassis rigidity would regulate the amount of torque passing through the transmission to stop it from blowing out. Don't want mmy precious car setting on fire now would we?

Probably should stop before the mods get mad.

On topic, the retro launch isnt used online and offline its not cool because its a different tune than your online tune so... Its pointless.

Whoever reported you must have gone to a school where they removed colored chalk and crayons to stifle creativity and independant thought.

Oh yeah, I don't like the retro launch either, I can't even do it. Keeping with the topic :)

I HATE the retro launch. NONE of my times are with the Retro Launch, and I intend to keep it that way.

I know how to do it, but I don't do it. There's no point, really. If you can't do it on Indy, then 🤬 you don't need to do it on SSRX. You don't prove ANYTHING if you do it.

Agreed:D

Hey guys can you help me, my gtr be runs 8.975 black screen launch and it goes 8.935 when I launch a 3 will this affect online

No, when online the guy ghosts randomly, so online you may get the equivalent of a black screen launch or a timed launch, it all depends what rpm your car catches when you release the brake while the engine is bouncing up and down on the limiter.

Doesn't the rpm have to be full by holding e break and throttle
