Due to the recent events of Hurricane Sandy, certain complications may arise
within the next couple of weeks. For instance, at yesterday's pre-season race
was almost cancelled due to GTPlanet's servers going down. You can always try
searching for the room in the Open Lobby menu by using the filters. Use the key
word "Race for Real" and filter the track that we will be racing that day. Look for
a lobby with the name of "GTP ALMS Private", "GTP ALMS Rd.#{current round}
Private", or similar. Also look for my name or any name on the registration list.

11/03/2012

Rules and Regulations now available for viewing and download via Mediafire
in PDF format. You can also download the file via Google Drives when viewing
the document in a variety of file formats. In the browser window, you will see

the format you wish to download.

Update 2.09 is now available for GT5. Due to this new update and a new feature,
the Tire Wear/Fuel Consumption setting will be set to "Normal" for practice,
qualifying and the race itself.

11/11/2012

The Registration List has been updated with a PSN name change and two
withdrawals. Please review the registration list, and also, if you have any red text
stating "Not Specified", please supply the required information as soon as possible
before the first scheduled race. Thank you.

Also, due to an unknown error, the MediaFire links have been taken down until the
situation has been resolved. The document is still downloadable through Google Drive.

11/15/2012

The RUF will get an extra 10 HP boost bringing the new specs for the RUF RGT to
510 HP and 1300 kgs, effective immediately.

Due to this week being Thanksgiving week, this Friday's race will be
postponed till next week, November 30, 2012.
This week will instead host the exhibition race at Motegi.

For the week of 12/23/2012 to 12/29/2012 (the week of Christmas)

week. This will, in turn, push the rest of the season back one week.
The week will host another exhibition race at a track of the user's
choosing, following a vote.

02/08/2013

The season has concluded with its final race at Le Mans. Unfortunately,
due to the lack of participation, the series has been labeled as "abandoned"
and the final tally will not be added up. Please keep an eye out for
Season VII, but don't expect it any time soon as I will be busy.

What will the PC specs be? I'm in for this season. I'm undecided about class and car.

Click the pictures. They link to the specs for that car. Also, the top half of the track icons link to the track information, and the bottom half link to the results of that race.

I'm still not sure which class, but if I'm in PC I want the C60 Hybride. If I'm in GT, I want the Corvette.

That OP is :censored:ing glorious.

If I may ask, why'd you guys ditch the regular LMPs?

You'll have to ask Gatrs on this one.

Also, can you guys assign a unique number for yourselves? Something small, but I'd appreciate it.

Thanks for your kind comments everyone.

Time for something new.
No matter what we do, there are always complaints about LMP specs.
These are DEAD even.

I have a sponsors list if anyone wants to use it. It's color coded for all sponsors.

Looks great! I'm sure you'll do a MUCH better job than I did running the thread (you have already). Overextended myself with school, and just had to drop out completely for a while. I'd like to provisionally join.

I'm interested to see how cautions will play out, as well.

Same here. I'm glad something I said was taken into thought. Also would you guys care to see my Barber Motorsports Park I made? I have been told it's very good by some.

Partial schedule for now, if I have fun ill do all the races.

I'm not sure if we will implement cautions or not. I just added it into the rule book for future reference. But I did state that "At this time, cautions are not used in this series." so they are currently not in use. If Gatrs and TT13 are up for it, then I'll work a little more on caution procedures. I am glad that people are reading the rule book posted. Registration List also updated.

Welcome on board everyone!

No cautions.. Uneeded in light damage races :P.

With you on track.. Hmm let me think.. Na.. :sly:
