Hybrid Car 1/4mi. Leader-board BACK UP AND RUNNING (new OP!)

Whats up fellow drag racers!

So with all the hybrids floating around (y'all know your still making them :sly:

) I decided to start a Hybrid 1/4 mi. Leader-board.

In your submission pics, all I ask for is a picture of your time. (No picture... it didn't happen!) We all know we are "cheating" so no need for argument here. Just state your HP, drivetrain, your time and of course the Car.
I want to remind everyone please do not talk about how to Hybrid.
Please follow the A.U.P.

The cars will be By HP Class, and then alphabetically.

So with that said lets see how things go.

Nope. There is plenty out there, only this time if you're found with any hybrid cars on your hard drive, you could face a ban from GT5 servers.. Apparently all in the GT5 News Bulletin on the home screen in-game.

The last few days I finally got into the hybrid craze

The only thing is that the "craze" started in February and pretty much died in April... Coupled with the whole ban warning and subsequent patches, The scene has largely died... I'm not sure how many people even still make them. So not sure how much success this thread will get... Although I've always wondered what the outright fastest 1/4 mile time could be.

In any case, to kick off the list, if you check out my last hybrid car review of my G4 (my youtube is Fraternity187) you'll see the fastest 1/4 mile time was exactly 3.468! I always thought that was definitely "up there" but never had anything to compare it with. I'd submit that to see where it stands against any other entries this thread may get XD screen caps are no problem. 👍

@swara, I put a normal tune on a Hybrid Parts Civic (nothing special), I will work on it and some more cars later, had a mishap :crazy:

and I'm refilling my garage right now.

@jspec, I just finished up some testing. Ok I ran the same Civic in both tests.

Test#1:

'97 Civic EK
Test 1, was a stock car, full Drive-train with RS Tires.
Time: 15.783

Test 2, was a stock car, Hybrid Drive-train with RS Tires
Time 15.717

A Difference of .066. Dont know how much of a difference it would make on a fully broke in / tuned car but that can make or break a race.

Can't remember, around 480,000bhp I think. Was no where near as fast. The g4 hit over 5000kph average speed on ssrX...

Still faster than my viper. I can only get 360 000hp out of that even with special options.

Horsepower doesn't equal speed. It's more of a balance between transmission, power and weight. I (used to) have an Audi r8 with 40million hp which barely hits 999... Whereas cars with 1% of the power will easily pass 999 and then some.
