Do you liked hacked cars?

I originally liked hacked cars when they first started (I borrowed some of my friend's. Never got any of my own so I wouldn't get an online ban), but as time went on the fun went out of it. Plus if you (me usually) go into a room and win more than a few races "you" get falsely accused of hacking cars and people threaten to report "you". That is VERY annoying! Not to mention I (I mean "you") have no idea how to hack cars!

I only bought this game 1 week ago, only because my friend told me you can "hack" it. The more I'm playing GT5 the more I'm enjoying the legit>hacked cars.

Only realistic hybrids for non competitive use. I use the non-hybrided cars for competitive use.

This. 👍
I'll run my "Bugaru" (VW 1200 with a 22B engine swap) or my Nismo-tuned R32 V-Spec (premium R32 with Nismo Skyline S-Tune engine, suspension, chassis) in free runs, offline, or private lounges. When it comes time to racing, I'll play fair and use a legit car, unless the lobby host wants everyone to use realistic hybrids.

When I host I kick anyone using multi-thousand HP cars or X1-swapped Fiats and such instantly. I welcome realistic hybrids because it brings out the creativity in the player and it's also great to get to know the builder.

In my opinion, hybriding was one of the best things to happen to GT5. I know that comment is going to piss off alot of people. When you play your cards right when it comes to hybriding, you can make a lot of friends.

My advice is to not automatically assume someone is an idiot just because he hybrids. He just plays the game differently. It's his copy, he plays how he wants. Sure he runs the risk of getting in trouble with PD, but that will only impact him, and not you. This of course only applies to using hybrids in non-competitive events. However, f you use them in Time and Drift trials, Racing Leagues, or Race For Real lobbies, you are indeed silly for doing so.

To conclude, hybriding/hacking is essentially a double-edge sword. You have the realistic polite hybriders who build realistic swaps and such that can easily be replicated/have been replicated in real-life, and then you have the right morons who do unrealistic 800mph 50,000HP GT-Rs and swap X2010 chassis onto their Kubelwagens. It's a dangerous game.

Hacked cars when your using the game in offline or in a private lounge with other hacked = ok.

Unfortunately people abuse the limits and when it ruins other drivers races then = not cool. It just as bad as lag-switches at that stage.:indiff:

👍 Agree that.
I don't have anything against hacked cars if they're not used to cheat in public online races or time trials.

+100000000000000000000000 and beyond!

Yes because i only mod my cars realistically, i don't go for an insane amount of power, anyways the powercurves become very strange when cars are modded in the wrong way, like it would look like a straight line on the lower left, go down a bit and then shoot all the way up to the upper right corner so like 100 hp to start, then shooting up to 6000hp isn't realistic, its fixed by tuning though like putting an ECU and Engine Tuning 1 to 3 makes it more sensible 1600 HP with a much more organized ECU like a hill and not like a steep mountain.

I'v barely played GT5, but yes I like new options what this hybriding gives.

Someday I make one car too

I'm fine with hybrids, I'm also fine using realistic hybrids for racing online, but it has to be with deadnuts formula - aim for a target time with set tire, bring any car - so much fun with lots of variety, this of course requires honesty with the qualified car and good will to drive clean and fair.

There's a way to make 10000+HP cars from a stock one with stock power and torque curve, no tuning added in 2.14, and it's not HP multiplier ( it doesn't work ) :sly:

I was going say that realistic Hybrids are great additions to the cruising groups and über Hp cars are fun for 5 seconds but are then pointless. But then ZDPUH showed up and put what I was going to say to shame.

I would want to say I like "legitimate" Hybrids, but then I think about all the trash you can do with it, including cheating in trophies, and levels. Then I think on how many people abuse illegitimate hybrids online.

Although I voted for the second option in protest that PD adds these modifications in-game, I am not in favor of hacking the game and Hybrids at all.

Azure Flare
Always hated them, always will.

Awesome BR-Z in your avatar. Mine looks identical. Same paint, spoiler, wheels and even wheel paint. You have very good taste 👍

Ill be honest Modding, Hybriding, Hacking has its advantages as Disadvantages.

Issue 1: Little kids think its cool to do stupid swaps as hp hacks to 5,000HP+ This is why i hate it. I will never EVER use a Hybrid in a race.

Issue 2: People use them as Advantages in Drag Racing, Circuit Racing, etc.

Advantages. Helps alot of the drifters out imo. great for Drifting Community*

For example. I made a 111R with a K20A absolute stock. 209WHP. And its one heck more fun to drive then the Toyota Engine it had.

Hybrids are alright when they're done right by people who know what they're doing.

I'm not in favour of it and I don't want to do it myself, but I respect those who do it well and I can deal with the realistic creations.

Can you make me one too? I know your a master in it

On-topic: I have no issues with hybrids/modding of cars. As long as being used for personal usage.

This is absolutely on the money.
You have people running realistic modifications, who also generally stick to running with like minded people and never bother anybody else.
Then you have "the children", who run 30 second lap times around Route X and don't think twice about dropping into a random room where it's clear those types of car aren't welcome.

I fall into the first category, generally running a private lobby and catering strictly for show and messing around with friends. The only time anything stupid gets pulled out is when it's a swap gone wrong, but in a funny way, or if it's just really silly. (such as a Schwimmwagen that stays airbourne for a full minute, great for sightseeing!)

I limit myself to an absolute maximum of 2 to 1 power to weight ratio. If it goes anywhere near that I'll use a different engine, smaller turbo or even remove the turbo.
The days of the appeal of half-million horsepower cars should be long gone, but I guess some people really never grow up.

I can send some jg suits since I dont have time now make hybrids

This was just another inconvienience to the developers having to write up a new patch just to deal with these hacked/modded/"realistic tuned" or whatever you wanna call it cars that took away valuable time away from the production of GT6. the bottom line is, these computer geeks with no life and no girlfriends decided they could gameshark an online connected game. these cars are not part of the game in any way and should've never existed. anybody that owns, builds, drives, or distributes any kind of hacked game item deservs to be IP banned from all future GT titles and any other game for that matter. if you want to hack a game, keep it on the shartbox 360. The 2 weeks I owned that POS I found soooo many hack lobbies. Forza was a big offender and call of duty it is just out of control period. even PS3 call of duty servers are not worth playing anymore because of the hacks. If you need to hack a game on today's consoles, just shoot your PS3/Xbox and go back to an offline game from PS1 or PS2 and leave us normal people alone to enjoy the game the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

I like doing hybrids because I want some cars to be equipped with a certain engine e.g. an RSC Rally Raid Car with a 330 P4 powerplant or a Pajero '85 with the 120d oil burner.

I'm not a fan of making unrealistic hybrids, like something that has 10k horses and so on. So a normal hybrid may be realistic but not all hybrids are realistic.

You haven't a clue of of how hybriding works do you? Before you go about knocking our creations you call "hacks", do some research. It'll save you the trouble of looking like a knucklehead.
Oh and also I have a girlfriend. ;)👍
Edit: 27 people are hybrid-haters. :mischievous:

I love making hybrids because I've been doing it since GT3, even being amazing at the game, achieving all cars don't you get board of speeding maximum 300mph, its fun to have a possibility of speeding over, and having wingless cars, special paint jobs etc. Sometimes you can't be too biased, hacking can also be fun.

The only reason I hate hacking is for the people who can't originally play the game, especially the kids and chavs , a fake status of how much they have played the game, and the ones with the overpowered x1s, and cars given automatically without achievements, it annoys you that how much you have played earning the cars and sorts, that they click some buttons and type to access them, with no effort!

Pardon me, but I have a girlfriend, and she also likes the hybrids. Oh, and I have a family too and my daughter also likes driving the hybrids. So, I guess that just shoots down your stereotyping theory all to heck now don't it. That's really immature of you to assume that just because someone hacked a game or makes hybrids, has no life.

makes no sense I see it as a silliness everything.

Respect all you like, but I see it as something without any sense because there are many other games to destroy than Gran Turismo

NO HYBRID CARS

I'm going to try and decipher what this means:
Either you're saying that "You respect people who hybrid and those who don't, but you don't hybrid yourself"
Or "Buzz off hybriders you ruin Gran Turismo"

If your first language isn't English I'm deeply sorry if I offended you.

So your trying to say Gran Turismo is terrible compared to other games or you just hate hacking so bad, and if you do you can't be too biased over it, and its not as if your working for them. I prefer you should try a hybrid car one day, and see the fun inside, and if you already have, its your choice.

I see your very much against everything that you qualify as not normal?

I have no issues with hacked cars, although, I only made two, a Midget and a Mazda Autozam.
I'm some what a computer geek (if you like to call it that way), one you wished you ever would become as it pays very well....
I can also say, I do have a life, a job, a wife, a kid, a car, a house, 3 cats and a PS3 👍

Realistic, useable, fun, creative, personalized cars add immense value to the game to me..

I like to make everything from Haybusa powered austin minis to 1250 TT Lamborghini Gallardos. RWD conversions to cars make for a hell of a time as well. If done responsibly, there is NO reason to dislike them.
