there is a reason it's called HACKING. it's not part of the game and it was not meant to be there in the first place. in reality, PD could legally prosocute everyone that has done any hacking or modding to the original game without their consent. what do you computer guys say to that, huh? how does a nice 9 x 9 jail cell sound to you?

I'm going to try and decipher what this means:
Either you're saying that "You respect people who hybrid and those who don't, but you don't hybrid yourself"
Or "Buzz off hybriders you ruin Gran Turismo"

If your first language isn't English I'm deeply sorry if I offended you.

yes isnt my first language :dopey: no offended my, no problem, no have perfect english :)

simply, i dont like hybrid cars, because destroy Gran turismo.

So your trying to say Gran Turismo is terrible compared to other games or you just hate hacking so bad, and if you do you can't be too biased over it, and its not as if your working for them. I prefer you should try a hybrid car one day, and see the fun inside, and if you already have, its your choice.

for have funny i,m catch : nardo concept W12 - comfort soft - no abs - nurburgring nordschleife !

In reality i don't think you have a law degree and are not qualified to assume such. I also think that would hurt their fanbase taking everyone to court. The hybrids are a fun, they bring life back into the game when they are done right. I'm guessing the drift community are the only ones really benefiting from this.

Please stop.

The irony of your post is that this sort of thing has been going on WAY before GT5.

the offline gaming era is one thing. I had a PS2 gameshark, but that crap was buried in the ORIGINAL game code. this BS going on now involves people actually rewriting pieces of the game code. it just ain't right.

Except they aren't rewriting game code. They're editing the save file. Bottom line, if it was so "illegal" that you can go to jail, like you are claiming, I'm sure there wouldn't be threads dedicated to showing off these types of cars and all discussion of them would be banned.

Hammer, nail, head. 👍

Wow De Ja Vu, :) My stance on hybrids is as long it's kept in check, I don't have a problem with it and this is coming from someone who doesn't build hybrids.

I love hybrid cars. It gives me a opportunity to drive cars with lower horsepower and increase them a bit (LS7 AE86). Its my favorite drift car right now. The stance and hellaflush lobbies are also great. Just put a real life tuning community in a game and you basically have either everyone's actual car or their idea of a great car.

Hybridding cars in GT5 opens up a new world in the game but not to the point of using it just to piss off people online but I guess not all who hybrids do that one.

My chronic connection woes of the last few months , after over two years of flawless online service, started pretty much about the time hacks appeared. I wonder if the two are related.

Not in a million years. A simulation game is a game that simulates real life things for example simulating cars. If you think GT should have hacked cars than you are brain dead. It is trying to simulate an actual car. So driving a Peugeot 208 with an engine like an x1 isn't actual simulating a Peugeot 208 is it. My uncle has one and if one sounded like that then Sarah Jessica Parker has a pretty face

What about my simulation of the concept XJ220 by putting the Jaguar V12 engine from the XJ13 into it and giving it a 4WD drivetrain? I'd say that's a fair enough simulation, given that GT5 has many other non-production concept cars...

Actually, GT5 has horrible engine sounds for the cars in the game and I'm not the only one saying this. And FYI, what's worse is that not all the cars have the same engine sound with their real life counterparts e.g. Audi R10: I heard this car in a video where it did the Le Mans race but when I played the game and drove the Premium race car, the sound was not exact with the real race car. So I guess if engine sounds is the only thing that makes GT a "driving simulator", then I wouldn't call the game a "driving simulator". I guess there's more than only engine sounds but PD fails to make engine sounds nice in the game.

Gotta love that argument....

Since when is an LS7 powered MX-5 not an ACTUAL car?!?! Since when is a Lambo Gallarado TT not an actual car?!? Since when is an F1 powered Avantime not an actual car?!? Any car can be realised in real life.

Uhm, is this sarcasm? Sounds like it lol.

Is creating a real life replica cheating ? I made so many replica, Callaway Sledgehammer C4 ZR1, McLaren F1 LM, Delorean Electric, to name a few, then I also made fictional Wangan Midnight replica for wangan battle - Devil Z - this one actually already have a real life replica made and even starred in the Japanese life action movie, Kuroki R33 GTR, Monster Machine Supra and Legendary FC ( all possible to be built in real life and many have done it ) - all built to spec and have stock gearbox with custom ratio so no loud gear whine, they are not cheating anyone or anything - also they are always driven on comfort soft :D

Well technically speaking, hybrids are not much different from normal cars. Example The Ac Cobra on its own was normal, then Carroll Shelby put a 427 side oiler V8 in the original engine's place. Today it's done to MX-5's with Ford or Chevy motors, totally different car's and engine's but the principle was the same. If you have the Resources to do it in real life, then the only limit is your imagination. Sadly, 99.9% of us don't have spare F1 engines to stick in a Renault Avantime so we do it here. :)

Exactly! LOL

Using the most extreme example doesn't prove your point. Hybriding is more than just dropping 10k HP into a Mini. I raced nothing but hybrids first time around, and will probably race nothing but hybrids from now on until they ban them again. The allure of a 2010 Camaro SS or a 69' Vette with a proper V8 roar or an RX-7 with a 787B motor in it is just too great. I race within the PP limits with almost identical power to the stock motor, sometimes a little less sometimes a little more depending on the torque curve. All that really changes is the exhaust note and for the better.

Anyone that can find fault with that knows nothing about cars or how GT5 and the PP system really works.

You are my idol for this statement.

What about someone who says hybridding is cheating in the game? I love hybridding cars in GT5 but the thing is, that guy keeps blaming about it.

I use mine in hacked races/ lobbies and to shut up the x1s who think they are so cool since they have a 300 mph car. Guess what mine does 999
