Heh heh heh, of course I jest. The point of that thread - and of my "new leaf" - was to get everyone who'd been angry at me to see that as a person I extend far beyond the borders of the posts I've made here. I looked back on some of my more inflammatory posts, and saw how little they resembled me as a person. So I decided to change the way I behave here on GTP. If you'll notice, Event, I haven't even made a single post in any of the Opinions threads, and in very few of the Rumble Strip threads, in the past several months. If you look at Anderton versus Anderton Prime and do not see a stark contrast, then you are blind. Thus, I
have turned over a new leaf, it's just not what you thought it was going to be like. Instead of changing the way I post, the way I react to utter stupidity, or my often condescending and belittling sense of humour, I simply decided to stop posting in threads where such qualities tend to enrage other users, and instead focus my energy on the Movies & TV forum.
The purpose of life is to grow, to change, and to learn from your experiences. Without growth, you might as well be dead, which is something the Machines figured out in the Matrix Trilogy. It is a quintessential human characteristic that we continue to enrich ourselves through growth; no other animal on the planet behaves this way. They simply exist to procreate and to survive. Oops, I'm rambling again.
Anyway, I feel priveledged - and a little confused - that my New Leaf thread has been judged funny enough to be included here.
