GTP's been lacking a "fun" topic like this for quite a while now, so I thought I'd initiate one.
Signatures are interesting things Some people cram all they can into 6 lines (GTP's official limit, for those of you who don't know), some people nicely fill out those 6 lines, some people completely ignore the 6-line limit, some people use fewer lines, and some even have no signature at all. Signatures give a little insight into a person's personality a textual avatar, if you will.
With that said, some signatures are downright obnoxious. So, let's raise signature awareness!
If your signature meets all of the following requirements (
which are subject to subjectivity
)
1 6 lines or less
2 No [quote /] tags
3 No [size /] tags unless you only have 1 or 2 lines in your sig
4 No emoticons ("smilies") they increase line height
then show your support for tidy signatures by putting the following in your signature:
TidySig Smaller is better
(Hit the "reply" button if you want to copy-paste the vB code)
It should be noted that you will probably have to reduce your signature to 5 lines in order to fit this extra bit in (unless you're creative and can integrate it in some other way but without cramping, please).
Fight the good fight for smaller signatures. Or don't, if you don't want to and think I'm off my rocker. (Seriously though, let's have a little fun with this. )
