Last time I called a race "Vette on the Ring", people were disappointed to discover that I was only meaning Autumn Ring. This time it's the real 'Ring and it's also a faster Corvette.
The track is tricky, make sure you stay on the track and check the special rules concerning what sections are legal and what sections are off track.

How about a lil' race Kyle?

After 2 laps

T2 1.05.881
T6 3.07.058
T9 4.43.204

Lost a second right before T9. Doesn't matter though, I suck with Race cars at the ring

Im in for this one :mischievous:
Up for a little battle Dion?

I'm away for 5 days, but once i get back I will see what i can manage i suppose 👍 :dopey:

AAHHHHH!!!

:grumpy: Why? If there is a car I would not touch unless I have to, it is the C5R.:grumpy:
I guess I'm gonna have to make the best of it... :ill: I've got the "Green Hell" memorized some what, but I haven't done it in racecar of the caliber of the CR5.:sly:

Flizola havent seen you around for a while welcome back
T2 1'09.397
T6 3'14.649
T9 4'53.621
After a couple of laps. My goal is about 9 seconds faster than this and I think it will be easy to lose that time. This week I will enjoy alot but remember everyone that curbing kills:sly:

Oh dear lord, a RWD race car at the 'Ring. This will be . . . interesting. . . to say the least. But damn I can't wait to get started. Although I shouldn't get ahead of myself, I still need to put together a lap that I'm happy with at Monaco. I've only had a day basically to do it so far.

I’m planning to compete in the WRS for the rest of the year, so I picked a good time to come back. I’ve been driving the TT-R at the Nürburgring for the BC6, so this should be fun. :dopey:

T2-1'10.468

T6-???????

T9-5'01.867

Had a little off-road adventure for 2 turns right before T6, probably lost 15-20 sec. Then loped it right after T7...I HATE this car with a passion..

I hate the ring.

T2 - 1'07.127
T6 - 3'07.724
T9 - 4'42.225

I've actually enjoyed this car at the ring in the past when muscking about with it, just the medium tyres that'll kick my ass! :dopey:

its a 2 week WRS chump, you have no excuses...

oh and GIDDYUP for this race this one will get a lot more time then the previous one, coz my BC6 will finally be over...

EDIT: 30 minute session on this sucker, running 360 gearing, suits my driving style best i reckon... dropping time everywhere, especially the Karussell, probably another 0.5 a sector left in it (hopefully) i am curious as to whether a certain time barrier can be broken on this one...

T2: 1'05.084
T6: 3'04.634
T9: 4'40.937

I also was under the impression that this combo would last for two weeks (read it somewhere I thought), but the deadline states next tuesday... I'm away for an extended weekend, but I'll try to give it a decent shot...

Yeah, it's 2 weeks.
I just realized after having posted and shut down the computer that I hadn't corrected the deadline.
Now it's ok.

I was suprised by this race for sure (in a good way)!!!
A Vette once again this soon after the Autumn Ring week?

Of course, being that this is a Ring race I was bound to give it a try. :D

Sloppy laps so far but one clean run to get a start...
T9: 4'39.7??

Should come down a good bit if I can find the time to run this more and more over the week.
However, with my work schedule... :ouch:

Atleast I have today's American holiday to run.
So thanks for a great race Cyril!

Edit:
Updated time...
T9: 4'39.625
With one full second gained at the finish. 👍

Filizola havent seen you around for a while welcome back
Thanks for the welcome. I had to miss the race at High Speed because I was at a Youth Camp. I did race this week at Monaco, though. And I plan to scrape something up this week.

Blake
Two weeks? Why?

To give racers more opportunities to nail all 177 apex (apexes? apices? or whatever the plural of apex can be) perfectly on such a long track.

Ok, it's also convenient for me since I'll be away for 10 days with no chance of having an internet connection :D

Welcome back Blake, and Kent, and Filizola.
Or perhaps is it me who was absent for a while

Good to be back!
It's funny to see "blake" up there with me in that sentence because my little brother's name is blake. :D

Oh and once I have a real update I will be back.
In the mean time rest assured that I am working on a better lap. :D

1st to post.

I would have prefered the Autumn Ring :sly:

Why yes, yes indeed... I hope my right eye stops bugging me soon. It's been dry ish or something for the past couple of days. Very annoying.

Just don't wink at the girls when riding your motorcycle. Or wear your helmet :P

Just wanted to mention that I slipped into the 4'37 range at T9.
Specifically, a clean 4'37.6 with a poor finish (still a clean lap though).
Also, 4'37.3 clean (then botched all together).

Have seen faster times but can't recall specifics.
Until next time (maybe later tonight),

Edit: Sorry MisterWeary

That 4'37.6?? is a clean lap's T9.
Sorry again and thanks for your work.
