No fair...Tannis has been running the Nurb for weeks for his BC race :sly: 👍
Yeah, we should ask him to add the maximum ballast to his car so that he doesn't make us too ridiculous

AngelCreator was promoted to div2 last tuesday. He was quicker to update his sig than Colby to update the board.
That'll be sorted out eventually.

SimRaceDriver
Question: Is AngelCreator in Division 3 or Division 2?
I ask only because his sig. says he's in Div 2...but the board has him in Div 3???...

Yeah I usually just copy and paste a previous entry then alter the splits...my bad, all fixed now 👍

lost .6-1sec from T10 on though, I'm getting the hang of this though

God, Do I fel useless or what? :(

Either I am spending too much time on the bikes and getting all my apexes completely wrong, or, I just haven't had enough time on the Ring, or, I'm just crap at the ring!

I can't decide?

T2 1'07.661:indiff:
T6 3'09.705:yuck:
T9 4'50.785:yuck: :yuck:
At the minute I don't even know if I am gonna get under the 6 minute barrier or not.

Is everyone else using medium rubber?
Are you sure?
yes?
Bugger!:grumpy:

Mind you, it is the fastest I have ever done the ring so far!
I was a little surprised to have the front lift over the brow after T1 for the first couple of runs.
THAT, would be brown trousers time in RL, so would the left b4 T2 at 200mph.:scared:

Don't want to nitpick, Neil, but me thinks this is a no-no

I am going faster little by little. This took about 2 seconds off the final.
1'07.591
3'11.210
4'49.035
I just bought a dfp off of ebay for $64 so when I get it next week I guess I will be at the bottom of the division for a while. I know a lot of you guys have wheels so my question is how long would you say it takes to get adapted to it and match my ds2 times?

Depends on you, as well as the track and car combination. One week I used the wheel randomly, and was faster with it. I've never raced with the wheel other than that week. It was Seattle Reverse, in the BMW M3 GTR Race car. I just whipped it out for another try in the BMW 320i Race car around Seattle Normal(my BC6 race), and didn't have any such luck. So no more DFP for me.

I think it took me a week or so. OTOH, for me to use the DS2 now? I'm easily a second slower per minute on most tracks. Some tracks I can get somewhat close, but rally tracks I'm still faster on DS2.

I CAN say that the cockpit you use can make a big difference...

Hahaha...I tried all I could for about 2 months SOLID...I dunno about the rest of you guys but I've been playing TONS of games with a controller in my hand since I was 6 years old...so for me personally its very VERY tough for me to adjust to a wheel after 20 years of gaming with a controller in my hand. So now I just use the wheel for 'fun' and if I do any serious racing I use my DS2. The wheel is a blast, but I make totally bonehead mistakes with it that I never do on the DS2...again its just me tho.

Now this one perked my ears up a little. Sorry for never getting around to submitting a final time in Week 60. I'll not pass this one up :)
I'll get some laps in today.

Those who know me know I'm a Nordschleife addict, so I might make a decent showing this time :dopey:

I made no mention of my actual time mate, I could be anywhere from 1 to 30 seconds away from that minute barrier.

Guys talk about minute, 10 second, and second barriers all the time!

And I am absolutely certain that 90% of the guys above me on the leaderboard are either aiming for that barrier or are already under it. So no harm, no foul.

i have no problems with what you said, and the guys above you are WELL under that certain barrier...

Looks like it'll be bronze for me again this week/fortnight.

Fastest clean T9 is 4'53.xxx so far, and I've not had many clean laps yet? :ill:

I'll get some proper splits up later. 👍

I look at your time and it make me sad:(.

You know, people always feel bad when they see the "aliens" put down times.

I feel quite the opposite.
People putting down time like that are the best. Those of us who are "normal" shouldn't feel bad for not matching those times. Rather, we should recognize the FACT that even D3 drivers are amongst the fastest GT players in the world.

I know it is hard to imagine that there are still normal people who barely scrap by on GT, crashing walls and banging AI constantly, but there are people like that.

Being able to just hang with the gang in the WRS is a feat of its own and I suggest we all give our selves a bit more credit when looking at what is and not just what is possible.

Running with the WRS or any other click of OLRacers puts you on a level beyond that of the "true normal" player and instantly places you amongst the best there is in the world.

Remember, regardless of where you finish in the WRS, you will certainly always be faster than the average GT player in the real world.

(none the less, the "aliens" always manage to achieve what I hope for and never manage)

Well, Im back from my "holiday" and now i see so many fast guys about!, so much for a win :indiff:

I'd never thought of it like that. It doesn't bother me that I'll never be as fast as the Div 1 guys, it's an honour to race amongst them in fact. I only turned up in week 52 but my drivings improved already and as a bonus I've made a few friends on the way. 👍

Long live the WRS.

 Kent.

Finally something clean, but it came at a cost...i lost huge ammounts of time in the last half of the race. This was the first time i made it clean past t6 im ashamed to say. Now that i have a clean lap in the bag i can start pushing, watch out holl01, as if...
