How could this league be improved?

Well, we've been working on that. I felt similar when I first started racing in this league, but we have all been working together to try and flatten things out. But it's a tough balance. How do you make things even without making it boring, because people leave when the get bored? But people also leave when they never feel like they have a chance of winning too. As one of the newer members of this league, the first thing I will say is, stick around. Because, compared to a lot of leagues I have considered joining, (and then didn't) at least here everyone listens and then works hard to try and rectify the problem.

There are probably two people here who might have seen their Championship differently if not for some changes they made mid season to accommodate me and kz because we were struggling, and very nearly ended up fighting each other. By adding boost, we may have very well affected the outcome of the Championship, but everybody went with it anyway. I don't think there are too many clubs out here that would have done that.

But things are way better because of the communication and open-mindedness here. I haven't won one yet, but I have one podium from last year and I don't always finish last, so I truly believe that there is progress being made. People have been helping me pick cars and tunes and just racing with these guys has caused me to really step up my game. I can definitely say that I am a better driver because of it too!

So stick around and keep talking, because everyone is listening.

Back to you. For this weeks races. Do you have the cars needed to enter all of them? As you can see, we have been discussing that a lot the last two weeks, and ER and JK have been working to try to make that more even without ruining the spirit of the league. It can be frustrating. I only have $2 Million and just realized that I don't own a 787B. Although I could have sworn I bought one! (Where in the hell did it go!?) But I do have the 905 Evo, Sauber, XJR-9, R92CP and Speed 8. (Is the Speed 8 allowed? It's an '03). So I've got something to enter whether I like it or not. The 905 is good, just don't hi rev it exiting a corner and you will be fine.

Everyone should have a VGT somewhere. And the Mercedes is kick ass if you can't find one you like better. I will either be in the Nissan or the Aston Martin. The leaves the Fiskar. I've got one but I'm not sure it's stock. I have to check and see if I added chassis strengthening. That will ruin it's stock rating, because you can't take that off.

So where are you at with these?

I have the top gear/ silly race stuff ready. I got 1 race and 1 challenge. The race is the 02 viper fully tuned at Nurburgring 100% rain with any tires but rain or intermediate boost on strong draft on heavy nos is aloud and tire wear very fast 3 or 4 laps with time change. bumping aloud but no dive bombing unless u see JK. the challenge is lowest hp car to get to 200 mph with no nos and can't be under 600 kg. we will start with 400 hp and keep moving down.

LOL! They look good to me! BTW. I was looking at NFS, and I really want to order it, but I'm scared to enter my credit card number on a Sony Network. Trying to see if I have any alternatives for that besides just going out and buying it at the store.

Its easier to do top gear styled challenges on that game cause its like forza horizon.
 
And for those of you who said you don't plan on doing any drinking? Bravo! Keep that attitude. It's not worth the expense. And it rips up your insides. There are always much better things to do with your money than give it to the liqueur companies.

I'm going to see if I can order it on my computer and dl it from the PS3. I feel more confident connecting a financial transaction on my computer because I control it's security. I really have no idea what security they use between the PS3 and their network. I don't know if you guys heard but we recently learned that N. Korea was behind the last Sony Network hack. We don't have any idea what info the gained yet. The investigation is ongoing. If you don't know, the Sony Network was hacked on November 24th and malware was placed on the servers. They did catch it, but that's everything we know right now.

I'll let you know as we learn more. Computer security and hacking and hobbies and secondary professional pursuits of mine, in case you're wondering.

Sorry about this guys, but I forgot to mention that they probably didn't get as far as this network, otherwise Sony would have asked us to change our passwords by now. BUT! If you want to do it, it certainly would be a good idea. You can never change your passwords enough anymore.

Have you tested to see if it can go a lap without running out of gas?
Also, can the '99 be allowed? I don't want to spend money on a twin car where the only difference is fancy gauges.

This is a good point. One for me as well! :nervous: I know I'm going to embarrass myself in from to TeamMOPARTs. Luckily you guys tend to be good sports!

So a few months ago the Chicago cubs moved there farm team (the Daytona cubs) to NC. The Cincinnati reds came and took over
Now we are the Daytona tortugas(Spanish for turtles)....****ing reterted

That is why u must tune or find tunes and test cars to find the right ones. Don't worry, I have

U must test cars to find the best one and tune them. Don't worry, I have little time now so I'll probably pick something slow but I like and we can run in the back together

Tortugas, not turtle. Either way it sounds stupid. They wanted it to be named about something we have around here, and we have lots of turtles that lay there eggs on the beach but... loggerheads sounds wayyyyy cooler. Oh well. At least I have a team in my city that's given me many foul balls and numerous memories. Most people can't say that
