Well, if it gets to be a problem, I think we already touched on the rule that some leagues use. Two people per car? I think that's a pretty good one, however it's only really fair if all the cars are pretty fairly matched.
If we have time Saturday, how about we do Street or Street Tuner (No one-offs or concepts) at 2.21 P/W Ratio at Apricot Hill for 10 laps? (A non-points race). I am still extremely curious about the power to weight concept, but to do the testing would really take me forever to get formal numbers. I personally think it would be best if it works, and it would literally allow the use of any car in it's class, including 2Js, ZZIIs, Shelbys of all kinds, etc. Then, even if 4 people wanted to use the same car, it would still be a level field roughly. That's really closer to NASCAR and F1 in the 70s-90s, and typically how LMS, GT, and Street Tuner classes work today.
Would everybody be willing to test it out for me, with me, please? Because, if we find that it works and no one minds doing it that way, I definitely think we should settle it before the season gets to far ahead.
And
@MOPARbarrett5 I totally agree with you, and that's one of the things that keeps me going. I race myself every week, (most times with no other choice, lol) and that provides that challenge. Especially now where we have races that I don't get lapped, or lapped so much. Even so, I'm still racing myself as much as I am racing you. When I see myself set a lap that is comparable to one of you front runners, that is a victory in itself, and it tells me I'm headed in the right direction. And I'm getting more aware, so much so, that JK and kz don't have to let me know they are passing that much anymore!
