Knock-Out Qualifying

Just a reminder that ANYONE that is not a confirmed Top 8 drivers and want's to race next week, must attempt to qualify using the KOQ process. Additionally, Top 8 drivers are welcomed to submit times if they wish and will not impact KOQ process.

Once you are in the KOQ Time Trial, when you're ready, click the black & white (not green) start race flag and drive around until the timer expires and let the game take you back to the room lobby. If you leave before the time expires and takes you back to the room lobby, your time will not be recorded.

This Week's KOQ closes on Friday 2/20/15 @ 11:00pm eastern.

Ah got it I'll get it later tonight
Zii,

I sent you a friend request but I am not sure if you accepted it. Once you do if you have the cars shared I can add you to the spotters guide.

Guys, what I'm gonna tell you is not that important but I think you will find it funny to know.
Last night I was doing some informal racing with AJK Vail, Dr.Greenthumb and Valkyrie mkd and we were kinda racing and talking about a lot of different stuff and at a certain point Bloodredsky came into the conversation as all of us know him and apparently none of us like him :D and Valkyrie told us something absolutely insane that I had no idea of.
Months ago, Bloodredsky met a group of car hackers and fell in love with the cause becoming a little too crazy about it and, as a very smart guy he undoubtedly is, he learned how to hack cars from, according to Valk, mild changes to hard core 2000 hp stuff.
When I told Valk that blood joined DTC for 4 or 5 weeks and during that period of time he basically won every single event he participated Valk laughed out loud and said something like, "he was probably racing with more 20 or 30hp than his cars showed on the specs and skid recovery force on without you guys even dream of it."
As I told you guys before, me and blood were friends and raced together every night for almost 2 years and we were pretty even in terms of speed. He would win as many races as I would and it was like that until we "broke up". Then I joined snail and never saw him again until he falls on my lap in DTC almost 2 years after our personal problem and besides all the crap I was a little surprised about how fast he was now... he was twice faster than me now but you know what? I respect that. He probably learned a lot, practiced a lot and became way better than me... pretty acceptable.
Unfortunately it seems that is not quite true. I was fooled, we all were fooled by the guy that I left behind two years earlier when I realized that he changed into someone that wouldn't hesitate to play dirty to grab the win.

Schmiggz,

You should invite them to Join us. The only way we are going to grow is to actively be recruiting. I have always enjoyed my track time with @AJKVail and @Drgreenthumb977 .
Funny... Allan said exactly the same about you Joby. I raced you before and loved it.
I obviously tried to pull the over to DTC. Green said that he's already hosting tons of stuff so its kinda impossible for him. Allan gave me a maybe and Valkyrie doesn't like commitment

I had many a fun night in some of the late night rooms with vail and crew. I think that group would like the DTC vibe. Plus if there is space no need to commit just come join in when you can

The problem with Valk is that he shares his PS3 with his teenager son and apparently when the kid wants it Valk steps back. That's why he can't commit with anything scheduled.

Fair enough but he could always at least be registered as a driver and join us if he can;)

Going to try to be mega early tonight....see if being one of the first in the room fixes the issue from last week.

I set up a practice room for those like me who haven't had much chance to get used to this combo. I suspect I'll have trouble keeping up tonight.

No difference in being in the room early, still lagging. I haven't had an issue with Joe hosting before or the club rooms so my connection mustn't like someone else in there or something :banghead:

Ran out of gas....twice....was off by two litres total. Ran out of gas the first time and put 1 litre in, ran out again put 1 litre in and finished the race....

Edit: The car is fun until 2's.

Good racing tonight, really cool to see new faces in dtc, so I did watch replay and my tire wear was 2-3 lower then everyone else witch obviously is not going to make me be competive, second race I pit twice and still had similar tires as joe had on 1 stop, so Ill test next week combo to see if I could figure something out but if I'm using tires up much faster then everyone else then this very fast wear is not for me. I'll let u guys know my decision mid of next week.

Sorry Ken that was copied from one I had not updated. The OP has it correct. Of course what colors are - GT6 Matte 015 / GT6 Chrome 015;) Now share your cars!

Also @Kgffy you need to share your cars as that color looked great on the RS200.

It is a fun little car. Can drift really well for a 4WD car

I gather you are on a controller? There is no doubt that being on a wheel is kinder on the tires. But a lot of that has to do with how much easier it is to throw a car around with a controller in GT. In real life driving like that would kill your tires.

I definitely have a new appreciation for Autumn Ring, and the goosey RS200. I feel like I improved my racing line tonight by following some of you, especially turn one. My prior strategy was pretty much a divebomb, which almost ended in tragedy a few times.

It does seem that races follow a kind of pattern, where there's battling until people pit, at which point the field gets scrambled and then people battle again. And once you fall behind you really fall behind. I learned that the first race and @GGGMotorsport experienced that the second race. The same sort of thing happened last week if I recall.

Yes I'm on controller, in GGG tcs and rcs I'm able to be semi competive with very fast wear so maybe it was just this car track combo, I'll run mock race for next Sunday and if I can manage to to it on one stop then I should be good, but if I have to pit twice again while everyone else pits once then like I said maybe I should take a break in Sunday's races. Normal and fast seems like Im pretty close with tire wear with controller compared to everyone else, but I don't want u guys to change tire wear just for me, not fair to everyone else who likes it. I'll share the car Joby, think it's blue pearl something.
