Hey @BustedFoSho remember when we had that discussion about who had #13 first?? I found the quote but it was in Tyro... April 2nd :P
Yah we sure went back and forth at each other back then any opportunity to tease the **** out of the other LOL Although I'm a much slower easier target so life's not fair WTF I was even slower back then just starting out had the game like a month and joined we only had enduro running and no divisions so basically I'd race-come in dead last-save replay-review-rinse & repeat I got timed out every race the first month  It did exactly what I intended severely sharpening my learning curve.

I run my DFGT at full feedback, and every night I get scared that it will be the last night (especially when time trialing) as I'm sure the motors inside are made of plastic, bottle caps, and wishes.

But then I instantly remind myself that my annual bonus is coming up and that would be a perfect excuse to upgrade!

I've always wanted a t500rs, maybe this is the perfect excuse for an upgrade. I'm still waiting on a reply from Fanatec, lets hope they can sort something out, otherwise I'll be selling my clubsport pedals and csr shifter.

Those dfgt's are built like tanks I thought ;)

There's a very lengthly and technical write up on GTP about FFB and how it actually works. Too technical for me to explain as I would have to understand it in order to do that. However, it was very clear in stating that just the opposite is the reality. It stated that many people have the FFB turned up too high (even past 6 or 7 is considered to high in some cases) which makes the software start averaging FFB levels instead of interpreting them exactly as they are. It stated that by turning down the FFB levels, you will have MORE sensitivity to actually distinguish between certain types of forces. It also recommended that the setting be changed for each and every different car and drive-line system as they each have their own way of sending FFB signals. It recommended running it between 3 and 6 depending on drive-line. I turned mine down from 7 to 4 and found it to be much more sensitive.

Do you happen to have a link to this write up man?

Just finished the X-Series. I'm very rich and am going to be impatient with every other car from now on.

I ran this 3 times last night, and ended up extremely frustrated at the AI breaking in full throttle corners... If there's a way to spin a car, I'll find it!

 Those AI. Why is the Vettel challenge easy? In GT5, I had a world of trying to get silver. Now I dominated and got gold the first try. :indiff:

Daaaaamn i have a lot to catch up on. Will try to get up to date as much as possible. Cousins coming to Canada hasn't helped. Haven't touched the PS3 since they landed here. To add to the wound, this coming saturday im going to Igloofest here in Montreal and heading to Toronto for Valentine's Weekend. :(

Igloofest is the Canadian term for a real estate open house

Its the only way to stay warm outside. I was told to go last weekend, hell if i went. It was -30 celsius that night. Few friends ended up going, but they are mental.

Gah, I'm going to be so happy when this Pinewood Derby car is finally finished... I have not yet been able to "practice until my eye's bleed."

Fortunately, it should just be sanding and painting now, which is all my son's part of the build...
