I have done a personal race of 40 minutes. This is what i found out....18 total laps, 1 full fill up on 1 pit stop. If anyone else has a different strategy, please do share. Im almost curious if i should make 2 or three pit stops just to keep my fuel tank full without having one long pit stop. I know in gt5 is was almost always the case to get the best tires and keep the pit stops as frequent but quick as possible. With this new tire wear in gt6 is one loong pit stop worth it? Either way i enjoy the endurance races so no matter what ill only pit once, who's with me?

I haven't run a full practice race yet so not sure how it will play out.

If Dragonwhisky manages to qualify, his pit strategy will be to drive the car until he decides the tires are done, pitting without some engineer telling me I need 4 more laps on that set, get some new skids and go juice, rinse and repeat.

Just keeping the theme of referring to one's self in the third person. ;)

As mentioned earlier in the week we have made a change to the Optional Team Championship rules (details can be found here). Below are the current division assignments for Season 2. Those in SNAIL are based on Sunday SNAIL Division assignments as of this posting. Those not in SNAIL are based on performance from last season (minimum 4 races). Anyone assigned to a division below are eligible to form teams as long as the combined team score is 6 or greater.

Don't forget you have until the drop of the green flag on Wednesday to get your team confirmed.

When signing up for a team, please provide team car color and team name.
Remember, there is nothing extra you have to do once the team is formed.
If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks.

@brntguy - As always. thanks for doing these for the series. Looks like some great battles in the highlights. So eager to get season 2 going!

I was hoping you'd be carrying the team tankard into battle for us this week. Would be even better if we both make the grid. MOAR POINTS!

I have a question about the pit entrance at Suzuka. Is it before or after the casio triangle?

Anyone open for some practice now?
I'll be online shortly

After casino triangle. In fact, I had to look it up and then go in came to see where it is. Talk about narrow. For this race, you can enter the pits as you are coming onto the main straight.

Pit strategy will be very interesting this week. Does the race go 18 or 19 laps? 1 or 2 pit stops? Going to be a fun race that's for sure!

Sign me up!:) however, I'm not sure I'll be able to make it in all the races...

No problem

Please look over the list of drives in the first post and pick a car number that is not already in use. I need that to set you up on the scoring tool.

Thanks
