The pit bug was definitely present tonight. After m first stint, I couldn't break back into the 53s to save my life when I was doing 52s prior. Was a blast tho. Good times trying to time cautions without sound.

Thanks once again to all that show up tonight had a blast racing & learning see you guys next week Tex will post his track soon.

Ran my fastest lap of most the race on #4... finally bested it on #98 :) 54.3xx

I believe there are instances where minor contact is not felt by all drivers involved. I heard one early in the race I was not involved in and I believe there was one later on in which I was getting around somebody laps down in which I felt no contact but there was words of it. ??

Who ended up winning? We should do a road course next week *wink wink*

Yeah, Tex handed my ass to me on a platter. It would have been a close race had I not gotten caught up in a wreck with a lapped car late. My pit strategy had me with one less stop, but Tex was way faster. I am going to practice up this week and hopefully have something for him.

I was out of gas at turn 3 at the last lap but my car managed to cross the finish line.

I was sorry for VegetaBilly. He seemed to get DCed at the last 10 final laps.

Im in the same boat Engineer. I watched Tex run laps before the race. I cannot get my car to do what he does. He is 20mph faster in the corners and he never touches the brakes. He enters harder and later than I, with a lift and keeps it rotating with the throttle pegged. I don't get it.

I first tried out the Jeff Gordon car last night. I was getting around 1-2mph slower on the straights and corners then when I used the Denny Hamlin or Matt Kenseth cars. Try either one of those at 80% power. The key is 1) holding that outside line on the straights as close to the wall as possible and then hold the wall again between 1&2, 3&4 before you turn in 2) as you turn into each corner let off the gas, coast until you get the right line, no braking, and then feather the pedal until you hit he apex of the corner 3) turns 2 & 4 are 90%-100% full throttle if turns 1 & 3 are done correctly. If you get to where you are running a good line into each corner, coasting/turning, and feathering the gas pedal, you should be able to pull consistent 42-low 43's on RH. RS you can almost go balls to the wall on all corners for the first 4-5 laps with tire wear. Hope this helps.
