T1 was so tidy, all pack, two lines, nice driving.

The RS200's were so good, they were...what's the word I'm looking for?

Right, thanks for reminding me, RS200 - Hella good !

couple guys, totally getting 'screwed

the leaders, getting 'screwed bigtime

even the cars at the back were getting 'screwed. go figure eh.

I have got to get it through my head that the beginning of the race, tires = cold! Sorry for that accident at the beginning of apricot hill. I set @bloodredsky back a bit. That RS200 is awesome but sometimes it does ****y things.

The only exception to this rule is the Elise where your tires get colder.

In an attempt to pick the lowest overall pp and the highest overall pp, all in one week....(for variety's sake)

1840pp. 1240/600 split. 1240 first : )

Uncharted territory ? Good.

So I can choose any track along with time and weather, correct? if so I choose Circuit De Spa Time / Weather change. Course Settings at: Time 9:00, Time Progression 5, Weather 40%, Weather changeability 60, surface water at race start 0%

Edit: Changed settings due to difference in online settings. all good now :-)

I think the the dirt and snow tracks were ruled out. However that was GT5 so maybe they are more usable in GT6. Has anyone tried racing on dirt/snow in GT6.

Racing, no. However, koszak and I were practicing the Evo super lap around Chaminox a while back. Couldn't see anything when you got within the spray distance....made even worse than rain since everything was white anyway to begin with

Cool idea from the new guy.Just don't like racing the big ones first and the little petit after but its not a big deslike tho. Only wish, no race cars on the supers but maybe its asking a little too much.

Looking back at blood's photos of grand valley, I'm amazed that @tezgm99 and I were so close and we couldn't even see each other!

1240 split:
MR - Chappy 2D '67 614pp
FR - 15th Anniversary SLS AMG GT3 '11 624pp

600 split (there are some crazy looking cars down here!):
FF - Suzuki MR Wagon Sport '04
4WD - Daihatsu Move Custom RS '02 294pp

I should probably apologize for the top PP pick for anyone testing. A lot of the cars worth testing or owning in that PP range are many millions of $'s. Ah well, money farm the X2014 SC if you need a couple extra bucks.

*Edit - So the pp ranges are 589-651 / 285-315 right ? (5% each way right?)

What's the tires, SS for the high and , uh I can assume CH for the 300pp cars ? Or wait, do you guys even ever use comfees ?

The person that gets to choose the new track to add is @Nish. Nish you can replace one track (excluding tracks in blue) lfrom the below list with a track of your choice.

I see the list but once again I'm lost . I am replacing one of the non blue tracks with another track (any but not Nord) correct? What is the purpose of the list? or am I just picking the first race for next Tuesday?

Nish,

You are getting to pick a track to add to the lists of tracks that can be chosen for races 2-4. You can replace one of these tracks

Indy Road Course
Deep Forest Raceway
Silverstone - Grand Prix Circuit
Trial Mountain
Tsukuba
Circuit de la Sarthe (With Chicanes)
Apricot Hill
Mt Panorama
Mazda Raceway Leguna Seca
Twin Ring Motegi Road Course
Eiger Nordwand short track

With a track that you would like to add to the lists. You can add any track (excluding Dirt and Snow).

So you could replace Apricot Hill with Route X (or whatever it is called) if you were so inclined. That is not a recommendation simply showing an option.

These tracks are in the list of tracks that can be used on race night but since they are recently added tracks you can not replace them.
Ascari
Grand Valley Full
Suzuka
Nurburgring GP/F

Time for a vote people!!

We are going back to track groupings. The tracks will be put in groups of 5. Only 1 track from each group will be able to be chosen for the night (races 2-4). The two options for groupings are below. Please choose the option that you think will provide the best racing and strategy. Post your choice in the thread.

Option 1
Group A

Circuit de la Sarthe (With Chicanes)
Deep Forest
Apricot Hill
Silverstone GP
Suzuka

Group B
Mt Panorama
Trial Mountain
Indy Road Course
Grand Valley
Ascari

Group C
Nurburgring GP/F
Laguna Seca
Motegi Road Course
Eiger Nord Short Course
Cote d'Azur

Option 2
Group A
Circuit de la Sarthe (With Chicanes)
Silverstone GP
Trial Mountain
Ascari
Motegi Road Course

Group B
Deep Forest
Suzuka
Indy Road Course
Nurburgring GP/F
Eiger Nord Short Course

Group C
Apricot Hill
Mt Panorama
Grand Valley
Laguna Seca
Cote d'Azur

Sports Hards. You can you use Comforts if you like. At one time we even thought about making the winner run one less tire compond for the next week. But we never gave it a try.

:mischievous:... Yes...

I hate that god awful track and while Monaco is a passing nightmare I love it. I wanted to choose the Nurburgring Nordschleife but I was afraid of the race only being 2 laps long.

Currently the voting tally is

Option 1 - 1
Option 2 - 5

I will leave the voting up for 24 hours.

Nothing wrong with long tracks;) I know some people love them but they can be fun. I think Tez and I wanted to get SSR7 in the mix at one point. It even has weather as an option. Just saying:)

I'm not much a fan of SSR7 but it's a nice reminder of AVUS to me. 2 laps to me is more of a sprint than a race to me even with the extra time involved. I'll choose it next time it's my turn in a year or two .

Avus ? 👍👍 That banking
