Kozzy is a bit long winded on the subject but TLDR, you're totally fine to pick any car within the pp range. There were no restrictions so anything is game. Perhaps in the future there will be restrictions on cars picked but there's no agreement made on the subject yet. However we will rag on anyone that's winning for whatever car they pick because it's obviously a cheater car (kidding!).

Personally, I think danfurey should be able to pick cars outside the pp range. All in favor, say Aye. AYE! Motion is passed.

I have not updated it yet but I will be adjusting the PP of the HSC by 10 PP points. If we need to we will adjust it higher but that should at least provide a better balance.

I will also make a note about cars with adjusted PP in the new Opening Post. My reasoning behind this is not to limit choice but in fact to increase it. If a car is vastly superior then you either run it or get left behind. The goal of this series is to be able to hop in cars of a similar PP and have a fun race. The HSC (and likely a few others) throw the PP system out of whack.

If anyone feels there are other cars that need to be adjusted just post in the thread and as a group we will discuss the PP of that car and if we feel it needs to be adjusted.

I agree. High grip race cars bore me. I like real cars on real tires. Originally there was an idea to give points if certain criteria were met in your lineup. So say you would get additional point if all your cars were from the 90's, or if your lineup included cars from 4 continents. I thought it would be a way to spice things up. It never really took off.

edit - The other thing to remember is you will get out of this league what you choose. If you do not mind coming in 4th or 5th or less for the night then run the slower cars. You might actually have more fun

You can run anything you want. Challenge yourself with a slower car lineup...this is why none of us drove the HSC

On the subject of car selection, I was surprised how some gents were trying to make me feel guilty running the hsc, sure some of the stuff I heard on mics was some joking but I know some ppl were not happy, that's why I'm confused I'm the 1 while back ask if maybe a certain car can be restricted for the evening like a type r hsc etc and what was said on thread that by doing that would go against what dtc is about, so the direction I felt u guys were going for Is take. advantage of quicker cars because of spread of four races with a set pp limit, so hearing cheater car this cheater car that, u. guys could of easily said no hsc, I drove hsc thinking more ppl. would of used, reason I'm confused for what I've heard on mics last night.

I think at La Sarthe it is dominate but any other track it would be useable.
