I would like to give this a try, but I will have limited time to sign in, send a friend request, choose a lineup, do the oil changes and be ready by 9:30 Eastern Time. I only get home by around 9:00pm. Then to get into it as a "newbie".

There is a spot open. @JoeW hosts so send him the PSN friend request to Ice_Warden. He can give you an idea of when the room will be up and the friend request side of things.
As far as the lineup, if you check out our spreadsheet here you can mess around with lineups while away from your PS3. We have all the cars listed under the "Sorted Known PP" tab and you can play with the numbers. You can at least see where your favorite cars fit into the limits. I also added your name to the "Sign-up" tab where you can enter potential cars and get a feel for how they fit into tonight's restrictions. The sign-up tab also shows the PP splits for tonight with the ranges and tires for each group.

This event will run with a combined PP of:
1840pp.
The first two races will run with a combined PP of:
1000pp. All cars must be between 475pp and 525pp on sports soft tires. Tire wear will be set to normal.
"NO RACE/RALLY CARS FOR THIS SPLIT (concepts are OK)." - Kendawg
The second two races will run with a combined PP of:
840pp. All cars must be between 399pp and 441pp on sports hard tires. Tire wear will be set to very fast.
Qualifying and the first race will take place at
Grand Valley Speedway (Reverse).
If you would like to participate in the next event please post in this thread that you would like to take part and which cars you will be running. We will add your name to the list. You can also add your name and car lineup to the:

The HSC's are at 507PP. They are listed that way on the spreadsheet and on the list here https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...0-00-eastern-open-to-all.273868/#post-8108559@jobyone - I would like confirmation of the adjusted PP for the Honda/Acura HSC '04 concept thing (currently at 497) since it destroys anything around the 500PP range
If they are showing up differently in the spreadsheet somewhere please let me know.

Let me just say this...I am not going to kick someone out because you don't like them. If you can't put your big boy pants on in the morning and put the past in the past then it's on you not me.
it speaks volumes about @bloodredsky that, after all the crap that went down, he still pops in from time to time to race with us. He doesn't mind being in the room with his biggest fan (you), so who's got the chip on his shoulder?

I'm sorry Joey, the past is not too long ago budz because I raced with him here way after that past that you mentioned and I had no problem at all besides getting bumped off track and still having to see a picture of the incident on a thread with a low profile sarcastic comment that even you didn't like.
What bothers me about that person is the very unhappy comments he made a few months ago about how pathetic was to race with us as it was easy as hell to win night after night and all the offensive crap he threw up in our thread.
I'm not going to ask you for nothing Joey and I have absolute no beef with you. You're my friend, I wanna keep it that way. I just don't have your incredible ability to forgive.

But seriously guys this is a game. We take it way to seriously. It should be fun first. Actually scratch that. It should be about spending time with other guys that enjoying the game that is GT6. If it was just about going fast around a track you could do that on your own. If it is about the need to think you are the fastest guy out there well get over it. You are not! If it is a pissing contest for you go do some SPEC racing.
DTC is supposed to be fun. If you do not find it fun then step away. Generally speaking everyone is welcome to join when they want.
Now Thursday. I will be on from 10-11:30 eastern time. Feel free to start ahead of me. I suggest that we just run cars on Sierra. Set time advance to 12, weather to 50% change 10 times. Lets do a PP of 1885 (with 10% PP spread) on Sport Mediums. Tire wear on Fast.
This is just for testing so lets have some fun.
