Yup 517pp with 190 miles on it. I had ballast on the car for some reason. Car acquired 12/1/2011 so who knows...

Practicing online now if any one's bored.

Tentative lineup, with the +20PP handicap:
FF - Honda CR-Z TC (464PP)
FR - Subaru Cusco Impreza '03 (529PP)
MR/RR - Pagani Zonda C12 '00 (525PP as it has 26,000miles on it so it has lost 1)
4WD - Ford Focus Rally Car '99 (502PP)

Total - 2020PP

New test line up:
Spoon civic 455pp
AsparaDrink RX-7 '06 524pp
Audi R8 4.2 523pp
Lambo Countach '88
Spreadsheet says 518pp but at 0 miles with oil change I'm only at 508...

Also, Spyker C8 is MR but listed as FR.

OwensRacing Line Up:

AWD - R8 4.2 (523pp)
MR- NSX concept (470)
FR - C6 Z06 (549)
FF - Motul Civic (457)

Total: 1999pp

Line ups posted so far. Just wanted to get stuff gathered. I will continue to multi quote them as more are posted.

Lets fill the room this week!!!

My recipe has been added. I show one point over. I have my RUF at 505 but it came up 506. So I must win by two to have victory. Must drive real fast.

Is it in white color font? ;)

My line up posted above.

I am just getting my head wrapped around this week.

For no good reason, I am thinking (HIGHLY subject to change, very open to suggestions!) of: Rally, Rally, Rally!

FF Citroen Xsara Rally '99 - 497 PP
4WD Citroen C4 WRC '08 - 502 PP
FR Nissan 240 RS Rally Car '85 - 460 PP
MR Renault 5 Maxi Turbo Rally Car '85 - 528 PP

+1 Tires, no points, if still permitted.

Hey Owens, You didn't go watch the Indy race (NASCAR) today. Good ol Indy boy won it...👍

Nah,have went a few times in the past and suffered through the heat. Last time there it was nearly 100 degrees with high humidity. My two sons went with. IIRC they was 7 and 9. They had unfortunately watched a lady pass out and fall down the bleachers. She laid bent necked passed out eyes open. Oldest was saying she's dead Daddy. She's dead. Thankfully she was not and came too. Was able to walk out and gets medical attention.

So with that I said no more. LoL my nephew that is handicapped had excellent seats too. He let them go that year too. Glad I took towels to dip in ice water and wear on our heads.

Stick with local dirt tracks and watch the big races from the comfort of home.

I will be hitting the US nationals this year with my boys. They haven't been there yet. They are in for a surprise. 8000+HP is beyond words to watch.

Really glad to Ryan snag a win. Good guy and a Hoosier. :)

Owens,

Thanks for the plug in the normal SNAIL Thread:tup:

I might steal some of your wording as it made it much more clear than my long winded OP:dunce:

Honda MUGEN MOTUL CIVIC Si Race Car '87 457
Audi R8 4.2 FSI R tronic '07 523
Lexus IS F '07 517
RUF RGT '00 506

3 over but I will only be there for the last two races so will not matter.

Can someone volunteer to keep score since Joe is being a slack Bas**** and will not be showing up;)

I may be able to do scoring. I'll see if I can wrestle away the TV and the laptop, but no guarantees...

Handlebar:
Is that Citroen rally car really FF? I saw that on the spreadsheet the other day and it seemed weird since all the other '99 rally cars were 4WD. I don't have one to check.

Yup! Both FF in the sortable, and the narrative talks about "The front tires had trouble hooking up to all this power (296 hp)..."

I am rethinking my MR and FR, so the Rallying cry may have faded. Recogitating.

Revision 1.0 - scrap the Rally idea.

FF -- Honda MUGEN MOTUL Civic Si Race Car '87 - 457 PP
4WD Nissan GT-R '07 - 537 PP (438 miles) - listed at 535 in database
FR -- Honda S2000 LM - 508 PP
MR -- Acura NSX RM - 499 PP

2001 total points

+1 Tires, no points, if still permitted.

Fyi, broken in Scirocco is 445 PP @ 311 miles

2000 pp line up

FF Xsara rally car '99 498pp

FR GT 350Z RS 508pp

MR GSX-R/4 '01 498pp

4WD Mitsubishi Concept '89 497pp

Ok cool that is interesting. I forgot to post my new line up that I worked on Saturday:

Trial Celica 476pp
NSX-R Concept 470pp
Audi R8 4.2 523pp
Lexus LFA 549PP

What does "Nbi" mean on the data for PP?

Do those cars need verification on PP?

What is the max mileage before we know PP declines?

Not broken in.

Yes.

Oil Stays fresh for 200km then starts to cause a PP drop
An Engine Overhaul last 5000km then starts to cause a PP drop
An Engine lasts 15000km then starts to cause a PP drop. Once an engine passes 15,000km an Overhaul will not return it to the max HP. The Max HP (and thus PP) of an engine will slowly deteriorate with added miles.

A refresh coupon will restore the engine to as new condition.

That may be, but it was a total beast on the tarmac rallies until the WRC removed the kit cars category forcing them to switch to 4WD to compete with the big boys. Citroën never *really* recovered, they only won the drivers' title nine times in a row with Loeb

Dang everyone grabbed that Audi. I kept my list hush hoping to bring a secret weapon. LoL

Guess my trusty Z06 will have to do some heavy hitting for me tonight. ;)

Looking forward to it gentlemen.

Yea sorry Owens, that R8 is a blast to drive. It takes intent to spin it out just because it is so sturdy.

The mid-engine 4wd cars are always popular, like the RS200. 10x better handling than the front engine options.

I'll be on practicing in about an hour

I can still hear you!

Wish I had my ps3 but tired as hell from the waves and sun :)

Enjoy!

Soneone try that CZ3 Tarmac rally car instead of the audi. Would kill at eiger.

I can try. Haven't never done it before so you will have to show me..
You just need to either write down the results or better use the scoring sheet simply put the finishing positions in the field R1 for race 1 R2 for race to, etc... The cells currently have 17's in them. As soon as you put a number in the points will start to populate. Also put a 1 in the Pole column for the person who gets pole. I should be there around 8 to help out.

My set up:
FF: Honda Integra TypeR RM '04 - 469pp
RR: RUF RGT '00 - 504pp
FR: TVR Tamora - 505pp
4WD: Audi R8 4.2 FSI R Tronic '07 - 520pp
