For the first time I actually like one of your postsIt's common knowledge that pit stops in practice are much longer than real race pit stops. Gotta practice by actually setting up a race.
Also try not to pit with some one or in the least pit in order of pit stalls. The stagger of the stupid AI pit drivers will kill your pit time!Well I thought I figured out a good strategy but once again GT6 reared its ugly game code and everyone got shorter pit stops during the race.
I thought I got lucky with my pit stop taking 10s less time to complete than it did in practice. However it became apparent that my strategy got crushed by the shorter pit stops GT6 gave to all of the racers.
can you say 3 stops for the win next week at Nurburgring ??!!?!?
it will slow both of you down becuase while passing a pitted car instead of doing the 50mph it will slow down to like 20mph while passing the pitted car. If you both pass each other on pit road you both have the same effect. AKA your just slow (Well actually nic takes off like a bat out of hell. He passed 3 or 4 cars at the start but hay!)Yep. My second stop of the night I followed Nick in right on his ass. By the time we both left pit road he was around the first turn
I have been waiting for that since last night lolHey. I beat you.
Will make a point on joining rm first, lost so much time in pits, in pit stall before I had chance to set fuel, tire change, thanks penguin I did not know that. Also your pit box is determined by the order you enter the room first is up front and so on down the line
Well getting in first will be difficult but second is doable lolWill make a point on joining rm first, lost so much time in pits, in pit stall before I had chance to set fuel, tire change, thanks penguin I did not know that.
I think I remember GGG talking about it one night. I may be wrong but try it out. Will make a point on joining rm first, lost so much time in pits, in pit stall before I had chance to set fuel, tire change, thanks penguin I did not know that.
In the endro series I use to run in, we had mics open for "team" communication aka working out pit strategy. GT5 didn't have the stagger that GT6 has. So if everyone pits at the same time but the room host was at the end of the line we could all refuel and get out before he even got to his pit!I think I remember GGG talking about it one night. I may be wrong but try it out.

Well thank you for the kind words aero. Appreciate you coming and trying this out we understand that tuning is hard but we just need a little something to make us different if you know what I mean. Anyway thanks again and see you around.Won't be able to make it tonight, still out at the hanger working.
I think I'm done here anyways Birdy, this tuning thing doesn't suit me, plus my strategies have sucked and I've ended up racing a lot by myself. I am surprised because in the RCS we did 40 min races with pit stops and I did well there. I have also decided to give Sunday nights a go again and I only have enough time to devote to one series. Glad I gave it a try and I wish you the best for a successful series.
Cheers,
Aero
