â—† SNAIL [Pack] Racing - Boost Racing - Where the excitement never ends!

Ok, cool beans. I know the senior citizen was pushing for earlier nights .

Personally, the 9:30 EST time works best for me because I have to get a little one to bed before I can play. But I understand what's best for the group is what takes precedent.

Nice new avatar Ned! đź‘Ť
The time change is keeping the West out of this event (Just like a Good-O-boy, JK). Have fun. Had fun while it lasted!

@Xradkins As I understand it the earlier start time is optional for those whose schedule it fits. In recent weeks we have also raced latter into the evening with those who whish to stay latter. I think this flexibility in time for joining the race has came about because we no longer keep track of results. @Nail-27 any comments?

I think the start time is fine and we tend to do at least one extra race at the end and since we allow (encourage) guys to come and go as needed, everyone can play. And yes...since we do not keep score (or even qualify most of the time...what's the point. :D) there is no disadvantage to showing when you can.. We will plan on two rooms from now on and "collapse" into one when necessary just to allow as many to join as want and then be flexible as people leave.

Any thoughts about the tracks tonight?

I found myself struggling on the super long tracks last week. Because I don't drive them very often, I find myself just hanging on for dear life because of the unfamiliarity of these tracks.

Don't get me wrong, I like Sierra and the Ring, but it might discourage some new guys who might be intimidated by the long and complex tracks. A big part of racing is knowing the course, if you are not 100% sure of the next corner, it's going to cost you speed and grief for the racers who know the course.

Just my 2 cents, which in Canada means FA.

Well here are two more. Bathurst again (after 12 hours...I want more) and Grand Valley reverse (long course....really NEW)

We will try the BRZ at Bathurst to see how it does with boost on a long track

Nm I just found out my ISP went tits up. Guess I won't be racing with you fine folks this evening. Have fun if it does not get fixed before the racing is over I'll see you next week.

Room Crashes - not looking good for tonight's race card.

I had a blast tonight. Very close racing in all of the races. I got disconnected when the lag started during the last race at Bathurst. Always fun though.

I would like to join the monday night miata mayhem. I have already registered, but wanted to know what else is required?

It looks like the room is acting up again. Can I suggest opening the room earlier, maybe 20:00 hrs. in the east. It can stay open later for the west coast guys. We were going to try an earlier start time, I don't know what happened.

Guys Im out tonight...ice storm and power has gone off three tines so far...Champ has the hammer..I may show up late...maybe
