Thanks! Both Blue and Red Practice rooms hosts have been properly identified!

Please do not jump the gun and post practice room number. I will be posting the practice rooms numbers at 9:45 EST sharp.

Thanks to Tcrash and Dabney for volunteering to host. 👍 Go Team Snail!

No Idea. It has 350+miles on it. I remember doing crazy amounts of laps at Indy to break it in last time we raced karts. The extra 2 hp didn't help me any.

I hope either Patrick or Chris win this Racer X and keep it in GTP instead of going to someone from iRacing. Have to give my full support to our SNAIL brother this time.

Oh hills-yeah!

Also, just throwing this out there... all this talk about the karts...
Racing Kart 125 or Racing Kart 125 SPL?

Differences? Is the SPL acceptable?

Discuss amongst yourselves.

SNAIL technical director says everyone must be in the same kart. The racing kart 125 was the selection so that is what everyone will use.

I was kind of wondering the same thing.

It was more of a public service announcement for the unseasoned SNAILs.
Let the ranting commence.

The 125 spl does not qualify as being "readily available". It is not available in the dealership for purchase because it was a special gift at some point in time. If you have the SPL, you most likely have the dlc that includes the regular 125.

There doesn't need to be any ranting about the issue. The technical director says that all drivers must be in the 125. The SPL version will not be allowed.

D3 is officially open! If you are assigned to D3 please join with your best racecraft SNAIL_Division 3 Lounge.

'Golden Rule' of motorsports: It is the responsibility of the overtaking driver, meaning the car that is attempting to execute the pass, to make sure that the pass is made cleanly and incident free.

Way down with that but for intellectual purposes, what is the difference really? On a side note, the last time we ran the kart I was still running with the DS3... I really can't wait to kart my fanny off with a wheel!! (lowering FFB as we speak!!)

EDIT: Thanks for the info on the SPL... Must learn to type and beer at the same time!

I have no idea what the difference is off the top of my head (if there is a difference). I only have the spl on my old account and right now I have Bob running a race so I can't check it out.

Both my SPL and my regular 125 have the same HP and PP. And for those of you that have one and it's sitting at 28HP, jump in to the tuning screen then engine tuning and it may jump up to 29HP. We ran these last night in the open wheel shootout and that's what mine did. Twice.

Excellent!!! Good luck Hill 👍

Do they race each other tomorrow, or is it time trials?

Racing Kart 125 - 29 HP/12000 rpm, 14 ft-lb/9500 rpm, 90 kg, 3.01 kg/HP, 501 PP, 133.8 miles
Racing Kart 125 SPL - 29 HP/12000 rpm, 15 ft-lb/9500 rpm, 94 kg, 3.12 kg/HP, 499 PP, 189.5 miles

Yep, in the tuning screen, it's 29 HP, thanks.

And for anyone interested in the visual differences here is a comparison.

Strange, the spec sheet on my SPL shows 90KG not 94. You add some ballast to that thing kcheeb? Mine also shows 14ft-lb not 15. Only have 93.8 miles on it though.
