I was just wondering but do D4 suggest a prize A combo for Socal since he won it two weeks in a row or does he pick it himself.

Every driver is limited to one Prize A and one Prize B selection per season. However, these upcoming selections are for the July season so it's a clean slate now. Therefore, he's good to go on making his own pick. 👍

For either one considering selecting one of those $10,000.00 cars, you have approximately 1:35 to make your choice.

Please keep in mind this is an early notification as I'm not certain all the division stewards have had a chance to post all complaints.

Meh... $hit happens... those cars are so flimsy that the smallest of bumps takes half the car off. I actually think the visible damage is a good idea for a few weeks, for this exact reason.

I deleted all of my replays by accident (doh!), else I'd be able to see how I got that...

If we go $10M on the cars, I'm out for the next week...Not grinding away just to buy a car we may drop the next week.. I have a life (no offense..).

Let's see how the league handles a $10M car first. If all goes well, then we can talk about raising it again. Besides, is the F2007 really that much better than the F10? (which is $10M)

Yes zero, the f2007 is infinitely better , especially for controller drivers.

Does anyone have a coupon for the gtr black edition tuned car(gt academy) '12? I want another one to tune and such without losing my stock one, would be much appreciated and I will return the favor

Also, shout out to phisher for apologizing and then racing in d3 last night. Don't be discouraged by coming in the bottom because your times were actually pretty good dude, the one thing all snails learn the hard way is dont crash, even if that means slowing down
 
Heads up to D3; I'll be back to using the DS3 for a bit after getting smoked on the foot over the weekend.

I wish slo-pitch had assists like hockey since I totally deserved one for this as it cannoned off of me and lobbed to shortstop who took the catch for an out as the ball hadn't touched the ground :lol:

I will send you tickets! If you have a USB drive. Receive tickets. Save game. Plug in USB. Quit game. Go to the game save. Triangle copy to USB. Go back to game cash in tickets. Not the car you need. Quit. Load game save from the USB. Go into game and try again. Repeat till you get said car!

The Level 24 only gives out three car. FGP, F1 2007, and F10. So they one easy. I can send two tickets daily. So in two days time you will have 4 tickets to cycle. :)

As well the B Spec Online Event grind goes fast too.

That's a good point. I guess it depends on how soon I can put the results post together. But yeah I agree that giving the prize winners only a couple hours to make their selection isn't ideal. Then again, I think the idea was for them to have a pick already in mind if they were going to pick one. There are only four cars that are between $5M and $10M, so I'd assume guys already know whether or not they want to pick one of those four cars (without doing a bunch of last-minute testing).

All that being said, you're referring to next week right? SoCalRacer already picked a $10M car this week so I'm really hoping that TEX doesn't want to pick another $10M car. :nervous:
 
Division 1 report

Last night was another night of intense racing in D1. The points lead for the night changed race to race and coming into the last race it was possible for any of the top 5 or 6 to win the night. I had it in reach till I put the car off while pushing hard to catch the front pack. All in all a good night of racing though.

I might be missing some of July depending on how GTA is lined up this year. I hope to make the grid for a few of the races but if not I plan on returning after it's all over.

D1 data entered and replays uploaded.

I wish I had time to put a group of cars together cause I'd race with if so. Mondays I don't have much going. :( thought about using others posted lists but that's kinda shady.

Do I need to break in the CAP cars??? Probably take it up next week if I don't need to break them in. With the limited time I have I need something fun where I can must jump in without practice and have some fun. If I'm last. who cares!

As Owens found out tonight you do not have to worry too much about the PP. he ran 25 PP down and still ended up coming in second.

The key is to have fun. A few PP will not matter. If to do come in over the PP we just subtract the points from your total as JoeW said.

Back when the announcement was made I provided a couple of ways to earn money quickly... most recently was using a 2j on the new stars and stripes seasonal completely detuned but I did have 2 others if you can find them!

At least pick the alfa...that would almost be worth it. Requiring people to spend half of the maximum cash in the game...possibly ALL if two cars are picked...is just uncool.

How I make money quick in GT5!!!!
I have 2 ways of making money quick both require at least a 170% increase in credits, both are seasonal and hardly require any work. The first is the 500pp classic muscle car championship at daytona, I use a fully untuned and scaled back(ecu 50% and 200kg of weight added) gt40 '69(standard and won on Indy 500 b-spec 2hour 15min race with any x1) Will average about 500k from this seasonal race and takes about 5 min, this race is a lower pp car gives more money so feel free to experiment. This race is a bit hard if you crash though, so thank god were S.N.A.I.L. and were all clean racers. Just watch out for the corvette up front he gets away fast but you should be able to pass him on lap 4 if everything goes all right!

My other is online b-spec seasonal #5 on autumn ring(500pp) I use a lotus 111r tuned up to 500pp and usually takes about 7.5 to 8 minutes with a reward around 800k per race!!! Its good to pay attention to the race but sometimes not needed if your driver is good enough.

Hrm... I am looking for the GT6 Demo (7am EST) but I do not see it in the Store yet. Did I get the time wrong?

Twitchy, hard to handle cars are a perfect recipe for one and done. People should try to think of the league as a whole when choosing A and B prizes.

As long as you are happy with the F1 car choice...that's all that matters. You earned it but don't expect it to last.

Personally I would rather take credit for the combos that hang around the longest.
